We really like Dr. P but we had to find a new vet because this office is so disorganized. It's almost impossible to get through on the phone, and they don't reliably return voicemails. Appointment availability is very poor and you might need to wait weeks to see any vet. I tried to bring my senior cat in for an eye infection once and a simple UTI another time and both times it took an hour to get through, only to be told we should see the emergency vet solely because they have no availability for weeks. Not only is this expensive, stressful, and inconvenient, it deprives my cat of a vet that's familiar with his history.
I do TNR and cat rescue and so use several vets in the area. I think I'm pretty familiar with the usual struggles all vet offices have been through and the service one can reasonably expect. I go often enough that I'd like to think I'm doing my part to make it easy for the vet, too. I've stopped feeling like I can recommend this office for reliable care. They may be good for wellness care only, if you can plan in advance and don't mind chasing up the front desk a lot.

Moved here from Thomasville, originally liked it, but they got bought by a financial group a few years ago and their prices how really gotten out of hand, probably a 40% increase in the last 3 1/2 years, I’ll go to a privately owned facility ASAP. If you need a same day appointment is $185, ridiculous.

I am leaving this review as a health care provider. I took my dog on an emergency to this place, most of the front staff were nice and polite to me, but ones I got to the doctor taking care of my dog she wasn't any professional at all, she never introduced her self to me or talk to me about what was wrong with my dog, she was very rude to me and refuses to give treatment to my dog, didn't show any empathy or compassion to us, from this experience I removed all my 3 dogs out of there care an took them to another Veterinary office, my dogs are finally healthy and happy. I find out through their web page the name of this doctor since she never introduced her self to us and her name is Donna McComas. this was the Veterinary clinic taking care of my dogs since they were 3 months old, but their service is nothing like before, if you consider to stay with their service, please ask for a Doctor called Maria she was always nice to my dogs and she show real interest on their wellness don't ever let this doctor McComas to be close to you pet, she just want your money she charged me $77 for doing nothing to my dog just to see him and be rude.

Never had appointment available even for emergencies and it is very hard to get them on the phone. Has changed tremendously over the years. The doctors don't seem to care about fur babies the way they use too. They are always in a hurry at appointments and don't really seem to examin the fur babies as they use to. Their prices have went up and the service has depleted. I had a dog having seizures and they made me an appointment and the told me that to receptionist did not put my appointment in the computer so they could not see him. Also they told me on the day before my babies were due for their meds that I could no longer get them there at all....terrible place to put my babies in danger. Now they are failing to send blood work results to my current veterinarian, which is going to stop him from getting his phenobarbital refilled for his seizures. I can not afford more blood work at the moment that is not due.

The people seem nice enough but just like a lot of doctors, talk real fast, while tacking on things to pay for. I don’t like the fact that I went to get my puppy his shots & was told I couldn’t get them all, not sure what explanation they gave hence the talking fast, spewing a lot of information at once so they can move on. I work & took a half day to do this only to be told I have to come back two more times within the next 3 weeks, I can’t make an appointment for shots. Just like appointments for people they give several people the same time for the appointment which I made to be seen for the first time, I dislike everything about health facilities. I’m off on the weekends but they add on additional money to be seen on Saturdays as a walk-in. I have had fur babies in the past & my experience was completely different. I chose this place because it was the closest but I will be looking to get my baby’s rabies shot & heart-warm medication from somewhere else. I don’t have the doctor’s name in front of me but she’s the wife of 1 of 3 vets there including herself. I really didn’t like my experience there, there was a coldness to the fur babies not mean or cruel to be clear.

I have been taking my animals to this veterinary hospital for at least ten years. Yesterday I requested that my cat be. Given the pure vax vaccine, which is relatively new and is reported to be less likely to cause cancer at the injection site. I was told today that they do not carry this vaccine. And they will not carry this vaccine because it costs more. I think if they would offer their clients a choice that a lot of them would choose to have their animals vaccinated with a safer vaccine. But it seems that they will not even offer it. I was told that if I want my cats To have it, I would have to pay for the whole tray of fifty vials. I asked if they would offer it in the future and they said they would not. Why not???

Good vet nd service. The front desk is nice and attentive. meds are a bit pricey tho. the vet was a wise knowledgeable man n he answered all our concerns. They were able to make my 5lb (usually moody) chihuahua feel at home and nonaggressive. Make an appointment but expect to wait a lonnnng line ahead of you. They are always busy and very popular with the pet owners in town - as is expected.
