We felt like our experience was very efficient. I texted with Simon for about 3 weeks before we got to go test drive our new car. Simon was knowledgeable in the car features and shared those with us. Simon helped us navigate the financing. We were in and out in close to an hour. Simon will be a true rock star when he finds our second key fab and mails it to us! ?

Although I decided to buy a different brand, I did want to acknowledge the tremendous service and hospitality of Brandon. If you're looking for Kia, ask for Brandon. Great salesman and just a great guy!

Been trying to make an appointment for weeks, I went up to this location some weeks ago when there system was down they told me that they would have someone call me back when everything was up and running and handed me a business card and I never received a call. Fast forward to today my Engine control system light came on a few days ago call spoke to someone and they said they got me scheduled for September 17th at this location (apparently it was never scheduled) I called today to see if they had any last minute fit ins for the day and the lady that I spoke to today at 9:09am - 9:19 am was so rude she had an attitude when speaking to me and kept trying to tell me that i scheduled with a different dealership possibly when I know I scheduled at this location. I was telling her my vin number repeated multiple times and she put part of it in wrong then blamed me saying that “you didn’t say that was in there”. I was also told it was a recall on the engine control unit by someone there and she was being rude telling me “well ik no one from this location told you that” how do you know that if you weren’t even in the call? This is my first time owning a Kia and needing to go to a Kia dealership and I’m disappointed in the service and I hope that lady checks her attitude and tone before talking to another customer.

Came on last weekend just looking to see what kind of deals were going on. Met Ben and told him what I was looking for and what I could afford - he didn’t waste any time finding me what I wanted - left there with a trade in and newer vehicle to me - 2022 Kia Sportage - hyper red! She is a fun ride and happy with my purchase ❤️ Come out and ask for Ben!!

I was told to wait one hour for recall work
I waited four hours, no explanation and no apology. This is the second time I have had terrible experience with the service department. I only returned because it was recall work. The Sorrento has been recalled multiple times. Never buy a Kia especially from Carolina Kia.

I just bought a 2018 Hyundai Sonata and had the BEST experience. Kyle Mauney did an excellent job answering all my questions. Kyle (sales) and Aaron (finance) made the process easy. Would highly recommend them!

The customer service in the service department is RUDE Janice was by all means snippy. I have never done business with them but just by the phone call I will not be scheduling with them. I get it what can one customer loss effective your business but it starts with customer service and if there is none from the start why proceed with them.

Relatively convenient oil service, inspection and carwash for a 3.3L engine Sorento. Here is how the receipt was drawn up:
Oil + Filter Change $ 74.95
NC Inspection $ 30.00
Subtotal $104.95
Sales Tax $ 7.08
Other $ 4.00
Total $116.03
The vehicle had only approximately 3,000 miles since its last oil service a year ago. I was about to pay with a credit card but was informed this would incur an extra fee. I was also informed using cash or a debit card would not incur the fee. Therefore, I paid cash. When I more carefully reviewed the receipt later, it was not clear to me what the additional "Other $4.00" was for. Maybe the credit card fee was left on even though I paid cash. Maybe the $4.00 was for oil beyond the standard 5 quarts, but then wouldn't it be taxed? Because I don't know the reason for "Other $4.00" on the bill, 4 stars instead of 5 on this review.

Highly disappointed with the lack of communication from the service department. I dropped off my Optima Friday for A/C work. I got a call from Mark Walters saying the refrigerant was fine but that it would be best to replace a valve. I gave the okay to have the part overnighted so it would be fixed Monday in order for me to get on the road later that day. I've called several times, left messages and have never had my calls returned from anyone. We finally had to call someone in sales just to get through to a person to find out what is going on. A lady, not the friendliest, call back and said they told her not only will it not be fixed today but will be several days. I specifically told Mark to keep me posted as I have to leave late Monday afternoon and be on the road quite a bit the next few weeks. Not one word of this was related to me. Terrible customer "lack of" care

This was the easiest purchase process I experienced. Great staff, very customer oriented. Price point is what I needed, incentives were very good and trade-in value exceeded my expectation. Am referring neighbors & friends to this dealership.

My 1 star review was removed unsure why people still need to be aware of the service department. Whomever fixed my ac that went out after not even having my car a year damaged the plastic piece along the edges during removal service manager brushed it under the rug saying o that’s nothing. Service department also threw a heavy tire pressure unit that was in my front passenger floorboard into my back seat damaging the seat. Not only that but car was scratched along the right side panel during service. Was told both would be fixed but nothing was done about the council damage their service provider caused. Went to pick up car and seat no longer had the dent but they painted the scratch with a paint pen very visable brought it to their attention and they said they’d fix it. Pick it back up and don’t think to look down when entering the vehicle and someone keyed the inside of the door panel. took it to major which is the only reason the one star has become a two star because he made sure they fixed that and the seat but again nothing was done about the council panel where ac was fixed and it is now peeling. Super upset seeing how I already paid more that 5k over what the car was worth from the get go. This is the second car I’ve purchased from Carolina Kia and will be my last. Thank you major for taking care of those two issues although your team caused them but this has been the worst experience buying a vehicle and having it serviced. Including pictures from my original review that was taken down. Just please be careful using this service dept. They also added on a inspection “because it came with my car purchase” that I didn’t ask for because I had already taken it elsewhere. This was all happening when my grandmother was in hospice to top it off. Not only did I have the stress of her in the process of passing I had to worry about this crap too.

The car buying experience from them was great. I had a great salesman named Jacob, and he was a pleasure to deal with. I bought my car back in February of 2023. My main issue is with the service department. With the car being new and under warranty, I want to get my car serviced at the dealership. But getting ahold of the service department is a nightmare. It usually takes about 3-4 calls and a week or 2 before I receive a call back to schedule anything. The people at the dealership are friendly, but the customer service is just slow and has been that way all 3 times I’ve tried to bring it in. If service after you buy the car is important, I would consider buying from a different dealership.
