Buyers beware, my parents recently had a horrific experience with this furniture company, rather Dorothy. After moving down to VA in Feb for retirement and settling on furniture it took some time for their furniture to be delivered (not a problem, a wait longer than anticipated but that isn’t the issue). The issue was the horrible customer service person Dorothy who treated them so egregiously after they were informed that their delivery would need to be cancelled the DAY of. Finally items come but there is another issue with the chair legs. Parents are told THEY will have to return the legs in it. to be repaired. Obviously that is not an option because the issue is on the furniture and delivery company and Dorothy’s response was “you know there are people dying of cancer” ….. I am sorry Dorothy but who are you to determine what is a good or bad day in someone’s life using THAT euphemism? Her response was that her husband is going through cancer. Dorothy, perhaps being in customer service is not best suited for someone who can’t handle it and blames the customers for something going wrong on their end. Have you never heard the phrase”always be nice, you ever know what someone is going through?” Listen, my parents are from north Jersey, we can recognize a horrible attitude and poor customer service when we see it. Don’t waste the time or the money trying to be guilt tripped because the company messed up.

Simply Home has awesome selections for any type of home! We found our new couch soon after walking into the store. Whitney was friendly, knowledgeable and professional!

Simply Home is one of the stores in the Hickory Furniture Mart. We were in yesterday and found a couple of things but that was just one of the first stores. Today, we walked the entire mart and ended up back at Simply Home. Whitney helped us and she was so patient and answered all my questions. When picking a fabric for the chairs, she had great ideas and again was patient as I tried to decided. The store has beautiful pieces and prices to fit most any home. We ended up with more than we planned, but I absolutely love everything we got. If you go in, ask for Whitney, she is fantastic!! I can't wait for our furniture to come!!

We had a great experience at Simply Home Furniture. Dorothy Dray was so helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. The furniture was so beautiful, and there were many great deals. We can't wait to get the 2 chairs we purchased! We will definitely return for future furniture purchases.

I received a delivery from this company, I was then told that we had to pay 400.00. I called the store and spoke to Dorothy who was absolutely the rudest person I have spoken to. I have been in customer service for 20 years, and I would have never acted like she did. I understand that everyone has to get paid including delivery drivers( who by the way were phenomenal.) But she was acting like it was my fault that the delivery fees change. I wasn't made aware of the change . Dorothy was rude from the get go. BUYERS BEWARE THINK TWICE BEFORE SHOPPING WITH THIS COMPANY.

STAY AWAY!!! This store is in the Hickory Furniture Mart. It is an offshoot of Lindy's Furniture store, Hickory. I got a sofa and loveseat at the Furniture Mart, this Simply Home rents space there, apparently. I. met with 3 women. All Rude. there. I waited months for it and when it came, I had to pick it up or pay crazy pricing for delivery! They don't tell you this. Skipping details for when I. am through this problem with them... I got home and the sofa has a seat of 3 inches less than the other loveseat. Also, after spending about 6 hours in 2 weeks setting on it... it is already dented in on the cushion! It says Ashley Furn. on the tag. if. I had known that... right away I would not have gotten it. So I attempted to call and they wanted me to: send pictures, arrange the fill properly inside the back pillows and assuming that I can do all of this. They were so rude that I didn't even get to the dent in the seat cushion... the tags are still on for goodness sake! I am going to call the parent store again. I will get back to this later on... until then DO NOT BUY AT SIMPLY HOME!!!! IT IS JUNK.

This store suites us so well and has allowed us to furnish our home with a modern farmhouse feel. There are unique pieces that add interest and many options when seeking sofa and soft furnishing materials . Whitney has been our go to gal and has been so accommodating. No need to shop anywhere else.

Dorothy was great! Got info for us quickly and set up a pick up for us the same day for our sofa. We will receive other items in a few weeks. Good folks to work with. (-:
