Came in town on business and needed help in a pinch. Was referred to PNC and met Ashley the assistant manager. She was amazing in every way. Definitely walked out a new customer and definitely to this branch specifically because of her.

This is perhaps the worst branch of any bank that I have ever visited. To sum this review up, the following adjectives help describe the staff: rude, ignorant, condescending, slow, incapable, and unprofessional. I went into the bank to open a second checking account, and was greeted at the door by a lady who didn't believe I had $25 to my name to even start an account. I then waited 20-30 minutes for the two ladies working there to figure out how to log-in to their computer (and no that is not an exaggeration). Finally, sitting down in the office the process to open a second account (as I already have one account with PNC) was excruciatingly painful. The lady helping to set up the account had no idea what she was doing, took 45 minutes to do what I should have done online in 5 minutes (hindsight is 20/20), and left me feeling like I was an unwanted leper. So in conclusion, I ended up with the wrong account type (which is partially my fault for not researching this before going to the branch, but it didn't help that the lady believed account types like the Performance Select were simply for flexing and not for account benefits), and I wasted over an hour and a half of my life (and lost a few brain cells). I have heard good things about the Granite Falls branch though (although I have not personally been there), so I would recommend you try them instead.

I've been a PNC customer for years and the hickory branch is where i first signed up. For years the hickory location was great! they were always friendly and it wasn't anything to just drop by being so convenient but , the past few years it's gotten worse with the unfriendly feeling the entire time I'm there. Sometimes they have a guy standing at the front door questioning why you're there never smiling once when you go in hahaha . although I haven't run into the bouncer at the front door recently the lady working the front could at least act like she's not miserable every single second every single time I go in. If it's that bad go do something more fulfilling. Either way I've decided not to go back to this location , the hickory location. I find it much less draining to just drive the extra miles to the granite falls location because they're more professional.

We usually use the PNC bank in Granite, however today we went to hickory and wanted to withdraw money from our account. The lady that was helping us, questioned my husband about his check that was recently deposited and cleared. It was none of her busy where the check came from and how we got it. I think she was rude and we never have problems with granite. Will not go here again. Just give us our money out of our account and stop being nosy. Do your job. Will be calling Corporate.

Great bank. Met several people that work there and all are always very helpful. There IS an ATM and drive through in the back of the bank. Cash deposits credit instantly.

Alway friendly service. Their phone app is awesome pay bills deposit checks. They reimburse ATM fees is one of the things I like most. Great bank

Every time I walk in the branch I am treated with the utmost respect. Everyone there is truly helpful and they are amazing people. The bank staff is friendly and professional and they are truly on your side for you financial needs. Everyone in there deserves a raise.

Both this branch and granite branch have awesome customer service! Really helped me out the last few years, I would recommend.
