I reached out to Scott Wehr in April 2024 to see if he could help me find a used Toyota Tacoma for my son. Every Monday morning he would send me a text letting me know if they had received any trucks that met our specifications. Throughout our search he was very friendly, helpful, attentive, and had a customer first mindset. Even though I found a truck at another dealership, I will certainly reach out to him for vehicle purchases in the future.

Great place to get a car or truck, I have had bad experiences at other places but one of the sales people, Scott Wehr done everything to the highest standard and is a great person to work with. I highly recommend and will definitely be a returning customer.

They don't tell you online but they have a $899 doc fee. That's just to much. Each dealership set their own doc fee and this is just ridicules. Cars Plus in Lenoir has a 0 doc fee. Do better guys.

I recently bought a 2024 Toyota Tundra I-Force Max, 2024 Toyota Corolla LE, and a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD sport within 2 months from this dealership. I can tell you working with Ashton Holt (sales associate) and Justin Johnson (sales manager) was amazing. We do not live close by and I had called several other dealerships in my area. Toyota of Hickory gave us the best out the door deals. Do not go anywhere but here when buying a car. I HIGHLY , HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Thank you for not being a typical dealership but giving the best price and best customer service.

Travis Maltba was perfect! We worked with him from start to finish on purchasing a used Tacoma for our son. A top-notch experience! Travis was responsive, kind, honest, patient, and very organized. We drove from Charlotte to work with him at this dealership. And, will ALWAYS drive from Charlotte to work with him anytime we have a Toyota need. A+! Thank you for making the car buying process so enjoyable. First Class!

Amending this review after purchasing the Toyota for this dealership and having brought it back around 5 or 6 times for issues. The service people are very kind however the people performing the services in the back are evidently unqualified. I don't have enough room to go into all the detail but every time I take this car to this dealership for repairs they are done incorrectly. I have spent thousands of dollars at this dealership and have learned a valuable lesson. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS. Part of the money spent was to diagnose a specific problem that we suspected was our fuel pump. We told them specifically three times to check my fuel pump. $350 into checking still had not checked my fuel pump. Spent another $350 for them to check my fuel pump and they said it was fine and that maybe I needed to replace my engine. I just bought the car a few months before from them so that was not going to happen. I took it somewhere else and replaced the fuel pump and it fixed my issue. I took it back for complimentary service (given to mebecause of all the issues I've had) and they said I need a brakes on the back so they replaced the pads and oversurfaced my rotors which were continuing to make noise. I brought it back and they told me they oversurfaced them and put new ones on without charging me. However two trips down there and being without my car for several hours was enough of payment for me. Now a few weeks later I'm now having issues with my back brakes squeaking so I have it at a different mechanic's shop today who had to travel to Hickory (from Statesville) to get new parts from them to fix my back brakes that they just did. This is the most incompetent dealership I have ever dealt with in my life from the sale of my car to several repairs on my car. We will never be back here and I hope this reviewed does someone else some good.

Easy transaction from start to finish. I contacted James Koerner in the morning (from work) looking for a Tundra. He showed me my options, drove to my hospital so I could look at the one I wanted, and got as much paperwork as possible done for me before I arrived at 2:30. I was out the door by 4pm and on my way to the mountains. We have gotten Toyota's from Mike Johnson for over a decade and have not been disappointed with any of their departments.
