Hours: Mel's Superette is a well-established, family-owned old-school superette and convenience store. It has a country feel in the city with a down-home feel and a pretty cool layout. The store offers all the essentials and basic convenience store items, plus an excellent and large selection of craft beer, cold beer, and wine. It features local seasonal produce, country ham, home-canned goods, local honey, homemade apple butter, pickled sausages, and chow chow. The staff are the nicest people, very nice and great folks. It is not too pricey and is highly recommended.
