I placed an order online and paid for it. I needed the item that same day. When I got to the store during the published hours, the doors were locked because the system was down. I called the store and the lady was there, but wouldn't give me the order. It was a single item costing less than $3. Now my customer gets to wait a week and it's no surprise these folks are bankrupt. Never depend on them for anything important.

As many others have stated, the manager, Glenda, isn’t the nicest person. I asked her to cut four yards then asked if she could cut it in half and she got snappy at me and upset. I don’t think cutting four yards into two would garner a reaction like that. Then I got overwhelmed at the store and had my sister take over while I cooled down in the car. While I was in the car she made a comment to my sister along the lines of “Where’s your sister? Is she having a meltdown?” in a condescending voice. I don’t like making negative reviews but just don’t go to Jo Anns unless you want to experience Glenda’s wrath.

Came to purchase 4 sets of 2 yard fabrics for a blanket. After describing the request to the manager, she proceeded to make comments under her breath. When the fabric was not long enough to complete the request, she complained again, even though it was not our fault. The last straw was making a rude comment about a member of our group. I loved the store. And love the fleece material. I actually bought 100.00 dollars worth of fabric. I looked up coupon on the Joann Fabric And Craft website. They showed a 20% off at register for seniors. But when I got up there they flat refuse to honour it. Also pulled up 50%coupon, they again refused to scan it. Telling me it was NOT THE ORIGINAL WEBSITE. When I showed them their website they explained, ( very poorly ) .That this was a secondary site. What ever. You need to stop advertising these coupons. And it WAS YOUR WEBSITE.

I ordered some flannel from Joanne's online. I was sent the wrong color. So I went to the store in Charlotte. It was exchanged without any problems.

Very nice shopping experience at this Joann’s. The girls were so pleasant, friendly and helpful! Only gave store a 4 star instead of 5 because it’s small and limited on some selections I came for.

The ladies that work here @ the Hickory location are extremely rude. There are only 2 ladies that work in Hickory that are nice & don't act as if you are a bother. Because of this I believe Hobby lobby will be my go to.
