NOISE ALERT!!!The property and room were beautiful, and the staff was friendly enough... no complaints there. The hot water took a good 5 minutes to come out of the shower, literally. Other than that it was a pretty good stay. But beware of road noise on Friday and Saturday nights. Vehicles with very loud exhausts seem to run circles around the hotel all night. If you're a light sleeper or are noise sensitive, you will have trouble sleeping. It seemed to calm down both nights right at midnight, which makes me think there is a noise ordinance that gets enforced at a certain point. But seriously, it sounds like a race track out there all night. Very frustrating! We stayed in room 623 on December 29 and 30, under initials C.B.

We stay at a lot of Hiltons. Over all this one was nice. Only problems were the desk chair arm is broken. There was no paper and pen to write on in the desk. The shower hot water took 10 minutes to get hot. The shower pan was not clean. The pan has old soap residue/scum in it. It made the pan slippery to step into because the water pressure was so low that no water can reach the back of the shower pan to wash the soap residue/scum away. Makes us concerned we might catch athletes foot.

Beautiful lobby. Nice clean room. Had two connecting double rooms booked. Beds are very HARD!! Stayed in rooms 219 & 221. 219's shower was barely luke warm. I have never stayed anywhere that didn't have a hot shower. The lever was very loose. Maybe that is the problem. Carol in the restaurant is the best. She is such an asset to the Hilton family.

This team really made me feel special! From the ease of booking the hotel to needing specific accommodations. John and Ron were absolutely amazing! ?. I am extremely pleased with my stay here. Convenient location. Great bar and breakfast. I cant remembed the lady (with the nice hair cut) name that helped me at breakfast but she is spunky and sweet and made us feel welcomed. Nice Swimming pool. Nice little gym( if you like to work out on vacay)! The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you all for everything you do to make Hilton My #1 choice!

Not a ton to report here. There are several hotels of different major brands all adjacent to each other at this location, and over the years I've stayed at most of them for work.Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Perfectly suitable hotel for business travel. Nice staff. Excellent location if your work is on either the 321 or 40 highway corridors.Plenty of (mass market, chain) food nearby. Mall if you need something. Short drive to Olde Hickory if you want to forage for some really good non-chain local food.No included breakfast deals here. $15 for what is usually included at other biz hotels. Skip it. Ditto for their dinner offerings starting at 5PM. Plenty of other options nearby.Work has kept me here over a weekend on longer projects. I pack a lunch, head out to Lake Norman (35 minute drive), and grab a nifty twin-engined jet boat for a 1/2 day rental.

I've been coming here for years for work. Most of the time and everything is excellent. But of lately making up the room and simple maintenance things seem to be too much. For instance hot water. I have to leave it run a good 10 minutes before I have hot water. Housekeeping is not reliable. Don't watch much TV but when in a hotel alone for business it is nice to be able to watch something. Most of the channels do not tune in.

We came in to celebrate my brother's retirement. This is the second time we have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn. Very clean and comfortable.I especially appreciate a business center as I hate lugging my laptop on trips just to keep up with my emails. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, great and friendly service, and good food! Overall, an excellent stay and we highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn in Hickory!

We have stayed here multiple times. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area is spotless. There is an outdoor seating area with a firepit. Cozy and warm on a cool night. Lots of other amenities such as a free breakfast (continental) or paid dining room, snack bar, gym, laundry, conference room, great internet. -Staff is polite and accommodating. TOP notch all around.

I have always had a great experience with Hilton Garden but this time is was not so great. While the staff was pleasant and the rooms were nice there were other things that were not. You could stay in the pool area for more than 5 min. There was so much chlorine in the pool that you could not breathe and yours eyes burned instantly. The hallways were so hot, it felt like the air was not working. I was very disappointed.

Clean and quiet. Newer location and plenty of restaurants in the area. Great service at check in. My only issue is the pillows. They are too soft.Walkability: Not a great area for walking. Very hilly

Perfect location if you're staying in Hickory, this is right off of I40. Hotel is clean and modern and the staff is excellent. Only two issues with the stay - the TV was awful, and the pillows are way too soft. The TV would repeatedly get dimmer and then brighter as we were watching, and the pillows don't really do much as you sink right through them.Neither of those are deal breakers though, and I'd certainly stay here again.

You will not find a more helpful, kind and attentive group of people. This place feels like my home away from home. I stay here every time I’m in Hickory, which is multiple times a year.Noteworthy details: Breakfast and dinner is really good and convenient. The staff is so solid and kind.
