“We bought a mattress on Labor Day. The Sealy hybrid + medium. Your salesman, Terry did a wonderful job helping us to finally find the right mattress by using the "smart bed". He is very knowledgeable and definitely knows what he's talking about! My husband and I have never had such peaceful sleep. We have chronic hip and back problems so waking up with a reduced level pain has been such a life saver.

“We are redoing our entire living room set. After doing our due diligence, we concluded that the Stickley Brand was exactly what we wanted (Fine Craftsmanship, American Made by an Established Manufacturer). Only problem, we live in a very remote area of the Country and the nearest Stickley retailer is about 10 hours from our home.Through internet browsing we stumbled on Good’s Home Furnishings (20 hours away) and have had the pleasure to work with Lee Ennis, Sales & Design. The buyer/seller relationship was perfect for me. Much of our interaction was through emails which was ideal for my work environment. Lee was always very quick to respond to our needs and very patient answering all of the questions we had (we made him work). When he was out, his out of the office message would always be activated, when we needed to speak in person he was readily available. We never had to go to the store and never felt like we ever had to chase anyone down because Lee was always there to support our needs. Further, Lee was very familiar with the products he was selling and had all the facts of the transaction…very professional and no surprises.The level of service was second to none! To the management of Goods Home Furnishings, the greatest compliment that I can give is to let you know that your organization will be receiving an additional order from us come next spring. “What a fun store to visit! Everything seems thoughtfully curated and the items are actually in great condition. They have furniture, lamps, home decor, kitchenware, and even vintage stereo equipment. The store is clean, bright and not too crowded. I picked up some items to decorate a bookshelf that I was having trouble finding elsewhere.”

“My husband and I needed an Amish built Windsor double bow king bed very similar to the Amish built queen bed we have had for 30 years but wanted a larger mattress. The bed frame had to be custom built to match the style, and also the same wood and stain color, as our existing other bedroom pieces. Price was a big consideration. Josh at Amish Oak and Cherry spent a great deal of time with me on the phone and then when we visited the store. He contacted the builder to confirm this custom item could be done, and the cost was reasonable considering other retailers I had contacted. Josh recommended a mattress location nearby. After purchasing the bed and mattress, I received updates on the production. Josh coordinated the delivery of both the bed and mattress after the bed was shipped to them for inspection. The delivery people were friendly and professional.The bed is EXACTLY what I wanted even with the custom specifications. I could not be more pleased with the customer service, timely communication, and product from Amish Oak and Cherry. If you want solid handcrafted furniture, I recommend visiting their impressive showroom in Hickory NC and talking with Josh.”

“Mary took care of us without a fault. After assisting us with our chair purchase and confirming only one was available she spent some time going over options. She had excellent ideas and combinations after getting a flair for our home environment we were creating. We found what we liked somewhere else but weren’t sure of combination of those chairs. We asked Mary for opinion and she didn’t hesitate to say yes regardless of not making the other sale. Great experience and quality furniture.”

“Two men at this warehouse courteously loaded our new sofa into our truck at the time we were scheduled to pick it up. Our sofa was nicely wrapped and was safely moved into our truck bed here. We had a great experience working with our salesperson (Michael) at the store and with the two guys at the warehouse.”

“I am not a huge fan of the Hickory Furniture Mart in general. I think a lot of the stuff is overpriced and average quality... Amish Oak & Cherry on the other hand is top notch! I've actually decided never to go in this store again, at least not until I win the lottery. Everything they have is gorgeous and it looks and feels to be top quality stuff. It's all pretty pricey, but at least you can see why it costs so much. You can see the quality materials and craftsmanship that went into it. One day when I win the lotto I will return and will furnish my whole house with Amish Oak and Cherry.”

“We were in search of a top quality power assisted loveseat and our local preferred furniture dealer pointed us at Reflections In the Hickory Furniture Mart. The sales staff were excellent, low pressure, listened to our poor description of what we had in mind and identified exactly the right piece. Reflections carry a wide selection of quality brands and there were several contenders that caught our interest. We added the ‘white gloves’ delivery and set up service provided by J&L Furniture Services who operate from the Mart. Delivery was ahead of schedule and set up perfect. This was our first trip to the Mart and it won’t be the last. The Himolla (German) loveseat is a great companion to our Ekornes Stressless (Norwegian) recliners. We are very pleased.”
