When visiting hickory store to get my tires rotated, I was surprised to learn I needed new tires. So without researching on my own, I relied on service Mgr to recommend a quiet soft riding tire. Big mistake. After mounting and trying two sets of tires because they were very noisy ended up with 3rd set. Too frustrated to return for 4th set I am now having to live with very noisy tires! Service Mgr was very courteous and polite, but NOT knowledgeable about the tires being sold.

I bought a complete set of mag wheels, about 2 years ago,had a slow leak rear right tire, took it there to fix, repaired the tire, no charge, really surprised me, great place to purchase tires.and wheels.

At arrival for my scheduled appointment on 5/25/24, I had an employee yelling across the lot at me to park my car in a designated spot. So if I did park incorrectly, dont raise your voice to a customer, ever.
The guy that checked me in was friendly and informative. Had four new tires installed, my rims were covered with black residue. All four tires had different pressure readings. Definitely a RUSH job even tho I waited an hour with an advanced appointment. I called and spoke with a person who apologized but said if its "brake dust" they wont clean the rims(?) Really, after spending over $800 there, I would of shined them if it was my business!
I have done business here for several years and have had very good service. Not this time.

I had to bring the truck back a second time to rebalance the rear tires on my dually but it was right the second time. They did damage one of the front center hub caps but they replaced it......No questions asked for free!

Found a nail in my tire (repairable range of tread) and inserted a plug. Plug started leaking after about a month and so I took in into Discount Tire to patch from inside. They refused to repair it, citing liability. Local shop just patched without question!!!

This place is slow and umable to keep appointments as committed. I arrived 1 hour prior to my appointment and waited another hour after the appointment time and my truck hasn't been touch yet. Not a very good place to go to for anything if you have schedule to keep and don't have time to sit around.

Had a slight emergency. Grandson blew a tire on the interstate. Shaun at aduacounr Tires in Hickory took great care of me. Got the tire fixed right away so I could get back to my grandson still sitting on the side if the road. Thanks Shaun.

BEFORE YOU GO READ THIS!!!!
You can’t leave a second review, but these guys deserve more than that. I have been going to the Hickory location for 10 years now. Today was another example of how good these guys are. They are knowledgeable, have excellent customer skills, and always do an excellent job. Go see Shaun, he will make you experience there perfect.
The guys here do an incredible job. My review isn’t based on my experience, it was flawless, but more on the way the other customers were treated and the service they got. These guys will take care of you. They go the extra and knowledgeable about wheels and tires.
