“This place really shocked me. I thought it was going to be boring with cheap items, but it was not at all what I thought. They had a great selection with name brand items, and all of them were at very affordable prices. Some of them were down right cheap! I was excited to see Nike, Under Armour, Columbia, etc. All of it was in sale, I mean "really great prices" kinda sale! I will be back.”
“This place was awesome. I shopped in the bin area for Halloween decorations, so it took some digging around but if you’re patient and have the time, you will find some great deals. I don’t think I’ll shop for party supplies anywhere else now. In the bins they have stuff for legit any type of party you could think of - birthdays, showers, Christmas, anniversaries - balloons, cups, plates, napkins, tablecloths, banners, garlands, etc. The woman who worked there was so nice too - she brought me a bag to shop around with and was helpful when I had questions. Also, the bins that were labeled $1 were actually 50¢ that day! I didn’t even get to the other half of the store, so I’m positive that I will be back again.”
“This location was kind of run down but not filthy. They have a large selection of furniture, especially sofas. I was very impressed with the staff. The associate in the furniture section was outstanding and very helpful. He advised on the sales and what was in stock. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. What I liked the most was the fact that he left us alone after our conversation to shop and try out all the different sofas. Keep in mind, if you buy any furniture, be prepared to take it home yourself as shipping is not an option. The cashier was very engaging and a real treat to talk to. I would go back to this location if needed. I have other google reviews and one may just help you. Follow me and find out!”
“I've gone to this store for almost 4 years now. The guys there are great! The two tall managers are cool. The fabulous British guy and the care bear are really fun to talk to!. This store seems like a big family when you walk in it's like their home and they treat the customer like an old friend. I will only go to this Dg now and in the future.”
“I do like that there are price points throughout the store, but I feel that they should change the name of the store. It's no longer a dollar tree. It's more like a generic dollar general. Basically, even Walmart has cheaper prices for some of that stuff.”
“The people that work there are very nice there was a new girl she was very sweet helped out a older lady to her car and even put it in for her..you don't see people like that anymore..i had forgot to get her name but she has good manners and great customer service”
“Manager is doing her best with what’s given! Can’t complain about it being slow when no one wants to work, be nice to the ones who show up!! Is the store cluttered and are they fully staffed? Think about these things before you get all hateful with these people. Family Dollar higher ups are where displays and layouts come from so they’re the ones who need to do better.”
“This was the cleanest Dollar General I have ever shopped in! The employee Tosha helped me find what I needed throughout the store, and helped me load my purchases in my vehicle. “Know your prices before you shop here. They have $5 clearance bins but for the most part, a little bit of everything. Some stuff is higher than Lowe's or Home Depot, and other stuff appears to be half price of what the bigger stores charge. Friendly staff. Staff is willing to open item for you so you can be sure it works before you buy it. Somewhat organized by item type in store.”

“Great place to shop. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. Whitney Thomas, the manager goes above and beyond great service. I recently brought a large windchime I had tangled up terribly. Instead of saying she couldn't help (no receipt), she took time to untangle them between customers. They are very large and were a mess. THANK YOU WHITNEY!! They are joyful to me now.”

I'd just like Dollar General itself to pay there employees more then they make because they work hard and sometimes it can be more expensive then Walmart but it's a good store to go too if you live close and don't want to travel to Lenoir, Granite Falls or Hickory Walmart.”
“The only reason I am giving this store 5 stars is because of a young man named Sebastian.
This Walmart is adding on for a third time. I could not find anything because nothing is where it once was. I had to wander from aisle to aisle looking for my groceries. It was Sebastian who came to my rescue. He was so kind to me. I kept telling him I hated to take him away from his job. He was pulling for pick up orders. He needs a raise.”

“Dollar General is one of the best variety stores in this area. Just before all of the 12+ inches of snow fell. I was trying to find candles in case of a power outage. Lowes hardware was out. Several other stores were out on my way home.. I stopped at DG And they had all kinds of candles and at reasonable prices. The entire staff was wonderful. They even helped me get my purchases out to my car since I have to use a walker to get around. I will go there first rather than waste my time with other stores.”
“The guy at this springs Rd. Location he is the manager. This guy has always treated my family with respect. Every time I go in here he is always short staffed so a lot of times we see him working the cash register and stocking shelves, unloading boxes. What’s crazy is I go here every day I have never seen him NOT have a smile on his face! He’s always very helpful even when my wife is one of them crazy coupon lady’s he has so much patience lol ! Despite seeing him do so many jobs at once he always greets his customers and always super nice! I’ve went to other dollar generals where they see customers at register and there too busy talking and just completely forget about customers and don’t care! This is the type of person at the springs rd location that u need in corporate to show at other dollar general locations on how to treat customers and how to multi task! Despite this guy never has a bad attitude! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“Wonderful management team of Robert and Debbie saved my life in their Rose's yesterday! My blood sugar dropped so low that I almost passed out. They got me sweet eats to bring it back up, got me settled into a wheel chair while I recovered, even took me our to my car after I was stable. They're as caring, efficient and helpful as paramedics! Rose's is certainly blessed to have them!!I had already finished my shopping. I always am able to find anything I need there. The store is always clean and well stocked with all the super items much below most other places' pricing. I will be more careful of my health when I come back, but, of course, they can expect me to continue shopping there as I have been for years!!!”

“As their advertising says. "Good stuff cheap". It might not be the best stuff but for the most part it is good stuff. We go here quite often and buy something almost every time we go. It might not be the cleanest or most organized store but that is probably part of how they try and keep the prices down.”
