This location is always understaffed and whoever their supplier is for medication‘s they need a new one. The staff that is there works very hard but cannot meet the needs of the community of customers that they have with shut with such short short staff are the drive-through is his rarely open due to the staffing situation and if it is open you’re going to wait up to an hr

Went today and got there at 1:20 at the drive through window they had a black curtain on it and a sign saying low staffed be patient reframe from pushing buttons. There was three people going from the desk at the window to the the other part you could see them sitting there too. I pushed the button at 1:25 and still nothing so I called and nobody would answer. So I left at 1:29 because the recorded speaker said they would be at lunch from 1:30 - 2 and then came back at 1:57 and waiting until 2:05 and finally they decided to open the curtain and door. And after they sent the text to my husbands phone this morning that both his medications were ready they only had one done and told me to wait another 5 minutes so they could figure out about the other one and then they came back to the window and said it would be another hour or two before they have the other one fixed. They need to get there act together. And if they say they are close at 1:30 to 2 for lunch they should be able to take your order 5 10 15 minutes before they close for lunch. And if they say they have medications ready they should have it ready.

This is the slowest pharmacy around. Waited at the drive through window rang the call bell no one answered. I had to call the stores main line to get someone to come to the window and my prescription that was sent in more than 24 hours ago wasn’t ready. Then I went inside to wait in-person and the pharmacist said she would get to it when she got to it.

TL/DR: I don't quite know if I love or hate this CVS location as of yet.I ordered some medical products, shampoo, and mixed nuts online. (The fancy mixed nuts were on sale, so what the heck.) I chose to use this CVS location for no other reason than because they had all the items on my list in stock. I had to drive clear across town to get there. CVS ONLINE ORDERINGThe CVS online ordering process is extremely simple. I was able to see if they had the items that I wanted and in what quantities. I placed my order and paid with PayPal. My order was confirmed by email. All that I had to do was wait until I received a "your order is ready" email to go pick up the items. Shopping done lying in bed - simple as that.Maybe forty minutes passed, and I received an email telling me that my order was waiting for me at the front registers. I got in my car and made my way across town to the store.Initial impressions?Even though I knew where the store was located, because I looked on Google Maps and Streetview, I had a little trouble finding the store. Their entrance is situated off Center Street and behind buildings. I turned where I thought that the store was located, because I never saw a CVS sign. I circled the block slowly and didn't see the store. After making another loop, luckily, I did see their store sign and navigated down a side street to the entrance.Their parking lot is torn up with a few sizeable holes that needed dodging. I haven't seen that at any of the dozens of CVS locations around Hickory, which are generally extremely well maintained. And getting to the front entrance was kind of convoluted. Luckily, there wasn't one single car in the parking lot at 9:00 a.m. so I could cut through the parking spaces to the entrance.I walked inside the automatically opening doors. I immediately heard an ethereal disembodied voice say, "welcome, let me know if I can help you find anything." I had no idea who or where the person was. But that was a nice friendly greeting. I quickly looked around the store to see if I could find the person talking. I didn't see anyone. LOL. What I DID see is that this CVS has a very different layout from what I'm used to. The store looked old and a bit shopworn to me. I will not pass judgement on whether it was easy to shop there or not, because I didn't walk into the center of the store. Instead, I headed towards the front cashier location off to the left side of the entrance. I finally DID see a woman at the registers, although she wasn't immediately visible. She pleasantly said, "what can I help you with?" I told her my name and that I was there to pick up an online order. Easy peasy, right? She made a quick, cursory, search and said, "sorry, we don't have an order here for you!" (I thought to myself, "oh no, here we go.") I said, "the Internet confirmation that I received said that you do." She looked confused and befuddled. I said, "perhaps if you checked ALL of the packages, especially the one on the far left which is about the right size as my order, maybe you'll find it." She said, "that's not your package!" I said, "how do you know, when you didn't check the name on that bag!" She checked the large brown bag on the far left with the CVS logo. Yep, you guessed it, that was MY ORDER! She grabbed the bag, looked at me sheepishly, and handed it to me. She said, "I had in my mind that order was for someone else." So much for assuming.Given what had just happened, I told her that I was going to search the contents of the bag to make sure that my order was correct. She said, "go right ahead." I did and everything was correct. I thanked the employee and wished her a great weekend. She smiled widely and said that it would be, because she wasn't working on the weekend. She seemed to be overjoyed at that. LOL. I told her that was fortunate for her, wished her good luck, and left.(Afterwards, I drove to Windy City Grill, went in, and

This pharmacy is the slowest in getting you your medicines, I have sit in line at the drive thru for well over thirty minutes many times. Once sitting in the line forever they shut the window right in front of me. If you go in to get your prescription they look forever and call others to help find them. Are all pharmacies like that?

Worst Pharmacy ever. Customer Service no longer exists since COVID but human respect and kindness does. RUDE, misinformed and really just didn't care that medicine was really needed. You think? I changed to Walgreens so keep your rude unconcerned employees.

Worst customer service ever. Hear my story. Keep in mind I got 17 text messages saying my prescription was ready. I even called the day before and was told “Yes sir, it will be waiting”. I stand in line, get to the receptionist and ask for my prescription. She says “I don’t see it in the system but my computer doesn’t have the ability to look up them as good as the other one. You’ll have to go stand in the other line.” So, I go stand in that line. I get to the counter and she sees my prescription and says it’s not ready I’ll have to wait 20 minutes. I ask why I got 17 text messages and the lady on the phone yesterday said it was ready? She says “well you can’t really go by those text messages” which my response was, then why do you send them?I wait 20 minutes, at 25 minutes she yells to see if my order was ready. The only male there has the audacity to say “Yes, and that’s why you don’t come at 5 to have a prescription filled”. To say I was heated that he said that is an understatement. Maybe he doesn’t understand 5 is a pretty common time for people to get off work and it might get a little busy. Or maybe consider that you’re the one that texted me 3 times a day to say it was ready! The bottom line, all I wanted was someone to apologize for not having my prescription ready after they said repeated it was but instead they lied to me and acted like I was a huge inconvenience. Thank goodness pharmacies are a dime a dozen.

As you can see in my screenshot I was on hold for 1.5 hours for the pharmacy. This is not the first time I have had to wait 30+ minutes. I finally went to the physical location (which was not busy, no one waiting) and was still on the phone and showed them the screen of my phone to show I was on the phone and yes the gentleman was apologetic, he even went over and answered the line, but the 2 women working there did not care. I will be switching my pharmacy to Walgreens and I will NEVER visit a CVS again.

Every time I try to call about a prescription I’m on hold for 30 minutes or longer and end up just giving up on talking to someone because no one wants to answer the phone

I just went there because it is close to my house. I needed 31gauge needles for my husband's lantus injections. I had Walmart's box flap so I would remember what I needed. I showed the pharmacy tech and asked if they have those. She looked at the flap, the gauge and said no. Didn't offer CVS brand or anything. Now I know they sell lantus, so they had to have had something that would work. The previous time I stopped because my Dr told me I should use an allergy med with a decongestant. I took the card of the brand I needed to the pharmacy counter only to be told they were out and told they didn't know when they would get more.I'm done shopping here. They will not be getting my business again.
