Their new store on 127 in Viewmont is very well stocked, clean, neat, and very tasteful for a liquor store. I can see why liquor is so expensive in Catawba County and North Carolina. It is very upscale and fits in with the neighborhood well. It is a great location with good parking and easy to get in and out of. It's about the same distance for me to go to this one or the one downtown. I'll probably go to this one just because it's newer and nicer.

Allowing people to buy alcohol from yall when they are tipsy and have alcohol on there breath is stupid and reckless and when asked the only answer was were not a bar we can serve whoever we want its our call. Really? What idiot do you have working for you. Its a guy on third shift that refuses to give out his name. He must be fired. Hope you know every site I can review you on is getting this. If this person would have had something happen to them you would be responsible and screwed.

Always friendly staff, always can find my whiskey selection and generally you can find some kind of sale or gift packs for purchase. The staff are always ready to answer questions and are very knowledgeable of any substitutes if they are out of one particular selection. Favorite ABC store in Hickory!!
