Lot's of ruffles and large printed dresses. Prices are high, and most everything is made in China. Even with store wide sales, things were expensive.

I always enjoy visiting Belks because of their colonge tester counter. The store was clean and had an orderly presentation about it. Plenty of air conditioning.

Very bright & cheery! Beautifully stocked and in season! Mens women’s children’s departments with home goods and more! Loads of the Biltmore products! Lovely comforters -sheets-curtains and so much more! A very luxurious line of products from the nearby Biltmore Estates. Great anchor brand to complement the Mall! Tons of parking. Very safe and well lit! Enjoy a mall while you can! Was nice to actually see things on a shelf rather than just on our phones. Can’t wait to go back!

Cashier in men's department didn't know how to count change. I tried to give her a penny after she put amount in register, she said she couldn't take it now . She gave me bk 99. Cents. So stupid.

Do NOT buy jewelry from Sue in the Belks Fine Jewelry section of the store in valley hills mall in Hickory. I was buying something for my brother and she told me to get a warranty. I was all for it. She said if he does not like it, the jewelry and the warranty can be returned in 30 days. Sadly the piece did not fit on his necklace. 16 days later i greet sue again to return the jewelry. She told me i can’t refund the warranty. I said maam i just bought this from you and you said it was refundable. After going back and forth, she refunded it and said “we will do it this one time” and i said after this experience this will be our last time shopping here and then continued to come back with “well that’s sad to hear”. Sue, you should not have lied about your “warranty” to my face and make me have a warranty for jewelry i am returning within my 30 day window. Not pleasant after your sale. I’m in sales and i am very disappointed

Bought 2 belts, they didn’t not fit correctly. Upon returning the belts with the receipt no refund or credit could be returned without the physical card in hand. Most businesses can refund the money to the card account without the physical card present. Now a second trip is needed to return the faulty merchandise.
Never again will I shop at BELK in hickory, or BELK in general due to this issue. 3/22/2024.
