Had to stand and wait for the lady that works there to have her casual conversation with the gentleman running the register. Considering I was the only person in line she could have just let the man cash me out and then talked his ear off as he was obviously having a difficult time dividing his attention between the two of us. I said, "Sheesh just let the guy do his job!" and she said, "EXCUSE ME???" like I was the one being rude. If talking about your weekend plans is more important than cashing out customers so they can be on their merry way then maybe you shouldn't be in customer service.

They are supposed to call you when your prescription is ready. I was waiting on a call thinking that something was wrong after five hours. I’m not receiving any calls so I had called and they said it was ready two and a half hours ago.. I’m over here dying in pain and I could’ve been had my medication. ?

At 12:30 still waiting at counter Pharmacist says she has to close at 1:00. Still no meds after she filled 3 other peoples meds that walked up after I was waiting. Worst customer service ever

Pharmacy closed for the day because they pulled the pharmacist to work in Arden. Couldn’t get my prescription when I needed it in Hendersonville (Asheville Hwy) and had to spend an extra hour calling to get to filled elsewhere. My son had to be in pain way longer than needed.

The staff in the store but particularly the pharmacy at this Walgreens is great. Amy is the main pharmacist and she is accurate, helpful, friendly and kind and routinely goes out of her way to help you out. She recently made arrangements to get a Rx to me in a special time crunch as we were leaving town for the holidays. I hope that Walgreens will acknowledge the great work that she and Charlotte and Liz all do there and get them some extra help so they can continue to do the exceptional job of caring for our local community. We need them and we so appreciate their good work!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have been so happy with this Walgreens and all the people in the pharmacy. They are professional, organized, helpful, and very, very pleasant and proactive for my prescriptions. I know it's a tough job these days and am very thankful they have such a great staff working there. Thanks for all your help!

You would think that I would have learned by now that the pharmacy department has still not improved its customer service. The reason why I went back was due to location (Laurel Park), but by golly I will remember this experience and drive double the time in the future. The pharmacy staff are not friendly. The female pharmacist with grey hair even made a snarky comment to me when I asked a question. It is clear that she does not like working there, and it comes across in a big way. The techs were fine, they do their job. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where the employees take ownership at their place of employment.

Thank God for AngelsThe other night at a gathering we were talking about getting our second booster and the subject turned to a particularly sweet, kind and helpful person at Walgreens. At the time I did not know her name but after sharing similar experiences we decided that it must be Amy. In the following days I went to get my second COVID booster, followed by my wife. As I told my friend, the only side effect was that I feel invincible. I feel so fortunate that we have advanced scientists in America that were able to develop a vaccine to combat this and other dreaded diseases. I thank God for angelic care givers who minister to our healthcare needs and to people who put in the work and do so with such joy and caring as does Amy. In her own way, a Miracle Worker, right here at Walgreens next to Ingles.Earlier review:I stopped in today to get some bandaids and left with a big smile on my face and several more products. The woman behind the counter was exceptionally genuine and enthusiastic. She truly made you feel welcome and truly loved her job making the whole experience more enjoyable for both of us. I turned a quick stop into a stop and shop and purchased much more than I normally do. People really do make a difference. I will also give honorable mention to another employee in the pharmacy. She is also very cheerful and helpful. I have gotten several vaccines from her and joked that I’ve never had so much fun getting a shot… I said it lightheartedly but I also meant it. Her calm and cheerful manner immediately sets you at ease and the shot itself is virtually painless. I also appreciate that Walgreens keeps a record of all my vaccinations so it takes the tracking off my plate. A good company with Great Employees, yet another reason to Love Hendersonville!

I came here to get my Covid vaccine and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone was during my visit. They were so kind and helpful at the Pharmacy and even when I checked out to buy some drinks the gentleman was genuinely nice.Right before I left, a nice customer had forgotten a card they had already paid for. Everyone was so sad and tried to find her but she had already left. I spotted her leaving another store and was able to get the card back to her, but it was so wonderful to see such kindness from every single employee at this Walgreens. Small acts of kindness go such a long way; it made a simple visit to Walgreens a memorable moment of kindness.I wish I had asked for names so I could thank you personally, but I hope you see this! Thank you all!(TL;DR - This Walgreens is wonderful.)
