It’s bowling. Decor is quite tired and boring. Staff were adamant about not allowing us to bring in outside bottled water. Pro-tRump stuff posted at the front which is unnecessary regardless of your personal political beliefs. Balls didn’t actually have their weights on them so if you know your weight preference you’re just out of luck. The lane malfunctioned several times during 2 games but the staff was pretty quick to get it fixed each time.

Had fun, but facilities have seen much better days. Also, they no longer serve any hot food.

This was the first time in about 10 years I've stepped foot inside of a bowling alley and I was there to visit someone else I love it I mean this place probably hadn't been renovated in 54 years I mean the nostalgic feeling I got there were people in bowling leagues that were there I absolutely loved it They had an arcade that's been a little bit updated snack bar I mean beer to be honest there was more people there than I expected honestly I have to get this place a four and I was literally about to give it a five-star review I just didn't want to mislead anybody but if you're looking for a bowling alley I really why wouldn't you go here You know what I mean if you're looking for something new up to date refreshing you don't want to come here This is for the OG's the bowling enthusiast just the OG I don't know really how to explain it it's just old-timer. But you have fun bring the family enjoy yourself.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, pretty chill. Had a decent enough time.Place is just dated, ball quality isn’t great, the cash only thing is just weird, and you need to be careful and check rates beforehand (we did) because you can rack up a huge bill if you aren’t careful. $37 for two games for two adults and two pairs of shoes.

We reserved a bowling party for my son's 9th birthday here two weeks prior. We pulled up for our reservation today and there is a sign on the door saying they are closed due to a personal emergency. We did not receive a call or an email. We are sitting here with the entire party and a devastated child. Absolutely unprofessional and we will never be going back after this. I understand things come up but we should have been notified! We had family drive over an hour to get here.

Good entertainment in a town that could use more. Not the most exciting bowling I've seen, but it's bowling and they have the best boards table I've seen in town, not saying much, but the real attraction is the Skee ball game probably the only one in town.

My kids play Special Olympics Bowling and The Kids Bowl Free program and the staff is always super nice even when busy.

Wanted to go bowling while on vacation, saw this place looked cute so we went in. Cashier was very rude she had a terrible attitude, the shoes were also mangled and looked as if they had been chewed on. Good prices but terrible atmosphere and attitudes, would not recommend this place.

A bit outdated but has the old throwback vibe. The arcade was all but shut down, pretty good snack counter. The balls were way far away from the lanes so that was sort of difficult to get started

Stange. They told my daughter they had no lanes. They were practicing for tournament. Moments later he gave her a lane next to someone else who were not experienced. 5 of us bowled a couple games and there were 5 or 6 lanes beside us unoccupied. Oh well. We bowled. Had a great time. Plenty of balls to choose from. Cost was about $66 for the 5 of us with shoes. I thought that was resonable for an evening out. They also had bumpers in the gutters for my grand daughter so she could play just like the adults. Will definitely go back.

Went in there to bowl with my dad and they wanted to charge $7 a game. Being a serious bowler, I've bowled in bowling alleys way nicer than this one, and they are cheaper. Don't waste your money here. Plus the man at the counter has no personality either.

We brought a group of 10, half children, without notice, for my son's birthday. They easily accommodated us, and the cost was fair. They also gave my son a bowling pin for his birthday! We were allowed to bring a cake in. They had sodas, beer, and snacks (crackers and chips) for sale. However, there was no hot food (which we had been hoping for), so next time, we will pick up some pizzas on the way. My biggest suggestion would be for the business to update their website and Facebook to include information about their kitchen not being open and rules regarding outside food. No outside drinks are allowed, but they have an adequate selection for sale.

I don't get the negative reviews as we had a GREAT EXPERIENCE doing a business outing for our employees. It's an older building but it was clean and the service was great! All 16 of us had a great time and we'd definitely go back. For the people complaining about it needing remodeling.....people, it's a bowling alley. How does the decor really affect how much fun you have?

Had a fantastic time today at Tarheel Lanes! Took our employees and their families bowling. Everyone had a blast! The staff were very accommodating and easy to schedule with. Good times!

Staff is rude and unprofessional. Confirmed my kids birthday party via email then they claimed we didn't have a reservation when we arrived. Women's bathroom stall doors don't work. None of the arcade games work. Food/drinks overpriced. Sadly not the same Tarheel Lanes we had in town years ago.
