Only reason not 5 stars is if you/customer asks for a specific item (feliway optimum in my example, and they have regular feliway) their response is simply we don't carry that. Their other stores do so why not accommodate your customer and order it? ?? If I sound petty, imagine those customers with no car, limited time, bad weather etc... Plus if the solution is I SHOULD DRIVE TO DIF STORE OR ORDER IT, THEN WHY HAVE THE STORE AT ALL ? LISTEN TO YOUR CONSUMERS NEEDS ??

I gave it a 3 star only because I've never been to one they have a lot , I thought they could use a few carnivores seems like both instructors pythons monitors maybe some spiders been cool but overall pretty nice store as a matter of fact I'm going to go ahead and up it to four stars.

I come in at least once a week and spend a lot of money. I noticed, however, that there isn't anyone here in this store, that is part of the special needs community, no adult I/DD. Literally, one of the only stores that I've never seen anyone hired that has spectrum disorder or down syndrome, which to me, screams discrimination. My client called in about getting a job here. He's high functioning spectrum disorder. He would have a job coach, and he's black and was blown away by how he was treated (potentially some racism). So I'd really love for HR to contact me so we can discuss this further.

Store employees great. Grooming salon horrible! Tried over a wk to get an appt for a chihuahua nail clip that takes 10 min but they "closed early" each day! Finally got an appt & they called to cancel it less than an hr before I was supposed to be there because they noticed that I needed an updated rabies shot. Did NOT have time to get that & keep the appt. Very hard to schedule & bad customer service to wait & cancel on me at the last min!

I had a terrible experience here. I was a first-time customer taking my dog in to be groomed. I waited two weeks on their waiting list before they could get to my dog. My dog has anxiety. So he's barked like crazy once I left. They gave him a bath and told me since they found a couple fleas on him they had to use flea shampoo. And they had to charge me $10 for using the shampoo. Okay that was fine. They trimmed his nails. Then the groomer called me and told me that when she tried to cut his hair he wasn't letting her do it. She said he tried to bite her one time. My dog is a little 10 lb Pomeranian. She told me I needed to pick him up. So I did. What I did not expect was when I got there they charged me full price. $57 and all they did was give him a bath and trim his nails. That is a terrible way to treat a first-time customer. I mean they could have charged me half that amount and it still would have been more money than it was worth. I will never be returning here and I will make sure everyone I talk to knows about my experience.

They were great. My dog gets anxiety when he gets nails cut, but they were patient and kept him as calm as possible. And most places don't file , they just cut and send him out. But, pet Smart did a awesome job. On a score of 1 to 10. I give them a 10.

The employees were fantastic and very kind. I have nothing bad to say about them. However, I needed to share this to warn others. Rats are not supposed to be kept in tanks. Rats are extremely prone to upper respiratory infections and the build-up of ammonia being in a tank will cause them. I was visiting the PetSmart yesterday with my fiance when I noticed the rats. Because I'm a very experienced rat owner, I worried for them and figured they were likely sick and that whoever got them wouldn't know how to help them. I wanted to take all three that were there but because I already have 2 at home and 2 dogs and cats, my fiance put his foot down and said only two. Sure enough, as soon as I got them home, I heard it. They both have URIs. One is much worse than the other. Luckily, because I'm an experienced rat owner, I have the right antibiotics on hand but the person who would've got them had I not purchased them likely wouldn't have known what a URI sounded like or the symptoms and these guys would most likely have died. I feel bad that I didn't get to take the third one, he's likely sick too. Anyway, I write this to warn you guys. When you get pets from these places, it is a risk and a gamble. Fortunately, I know what to do. Hopefully I can get them healthy again. I recommend doing a LOT of research before getting any pet but especially from corporations like this. Often times, they don't know the proper care for each animal and will give you the wrong advice about the cage they need, the care they need, etc. Other than my new rats being sick which I expected anyway, it was a lovely visit and I really loved the leash and collar we got for my dog. The leash has a LED light on it so I can easily take my dog on a walk in the dark late at night. It was a good visit, I'm just bummed the rats are sick and the little guy I had to leave behind likely is too.

Short staffed, couldn't find what I needed and no one available to help. Ended up ordering from Amazon. Too bad, I prefer to Support local even if big box store...
