I have been using this company for about 6 years I've had nothing but bad experiences with customer service you can hardly understand the people they have picking up the phones and when they can't help you they just hang up on you I will not be doing business with this company any longer

Equipment is junk. Don't waste your time or money. More trouble with them then with anyone else. Blockbuster video is better than Morris Broadband.

Slow and unreliable. & trying to disconnect is almost impossible with the hoops they try to send you through.

The service technicians that I dealt with are first rate. Also got good advice from front desk personnel.

Needed a tech to open the box and rewire my TV input cable. Arrived the next day, opened the box and identified the appropriate connection on the splitter in 5 minutes, connected the new cable and helped me run the new input cable through the wall. Excellent service!

They provide worse internet service than dial up in the 90s for the price of a fiber connection. Stay away at all costs!

The WORST CABLE COMPANY IN HISTORY!!!! My first bill was well over $400 AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR 20 CABLE BOXES!!!! Who has that many cable boxes in their home! The worst to try and resolve a issue as I am still dealing with this bill bc you cant get anyone on the phone. My contract wasn't even a month before I cancelled my services. I advise you find someone else for cable services. Dont even deserve a "star".

This company Allowed my 16 yr old to get internet in her name without adult consent. Once she moved from the residence back to another state they have been giving her the run around to get services disconnected. No supervisors or anyone above anyone to talk to on the phone lines. Just workers who don’t care.

It was a fantastic experience UNTIL OPTIMUM CAME INTO THE PICTURE.Customer service has become non-existent. Prices went way up (nearly double). They made cancelling service a huge hassle.AT&T has now installed fiber in our area (Laurel Park, NC). We are giving them a go, hopefully that will go well. AT&T at least is up front about pricing and there is no price hike after introductory price or any of that sillyness.Morris Broadband, it's been real. I will miss the local customer service. Optimum, good riddance. Thanks for ruining a good thing in pursuit of the all-mighty dollar.

I can't give this Cable Co. ,Internet provider any more than a 2. The Setup Box's are old and won't record more than 2 showes at a time and you have to watch one of them. We pay for 200 and MBps and only get 47 on Download according to the Ookla Test App. I feel like if we pay for it we should get it. Just because we live in Western North Carolina mountains doesn't give Morris BROADBAND the rite to cut the power. Problem is that there is no better way other than Satellite TV and it goes out when it gets stormy. I just want them to give us what we pay for!! UPDATE 11/5/21. Just had the Morris/Optimum Service Technician out to check our Router and Internet service. He told me that the only way to get the 200Mbts was with hard line. The WiFi router only put out about a 3rd of the band signal. He also said that the Routers that they use are weak and won't go into back rooms or out in the yard. He recommended that we purchase a new router that is more powerful and has external antennas. They don't tell you these things when you purchase the agreement and the equipment. So if you pay for 200 Mbps of Internet don't expect to be able to use it if all you use is wifi. He didn't know what was going to happen after the buyout is complete. Good luck with your Internet. UPDATE:5/25/2022. The change over is complete now and Optimum has taken away several channels we had before and put them on a higher tier. I can't add any more to my account so I just don't watch other channels. They do offer a land line now and a Cellular phone Service that is run through T-Mobile. Which is useless up here. It's still better than the other cable company Frontier. I guess we just need to get used to prices going up. Good Side is the picture is very good.

I hope they go out of business soon because this is without a doubt the worst internet provider on planet Earth! Our internet is out every day and so is everyone I know. They're answering service is designed to trip you up and never get a straight answer by putting you on hold and screwing around with you with the q&a. There's no one you can call to get any satisfaction and your internet has to be out for 24 hours before you can get a credit for that day. They make sure to turn the internet back on before midnight for a few minutes and then turn it back off the next day! All this for $100! I wish there was someone I could choke and get away with it but they all hide behind their answering machines. Just decided to go to T-Mobile and be done with this bunch of *+&$#!!

Looking for an over-priced, slow internet service that you will randomly be dropped from during work meetings, will cut out unexpectedly, and will charge you for reconnection fees when they "loose" your payment information? LOOK NO FURTHER! Recently purchased by Optimum, this is now the saddest internet provider in all the lower 48...when you call to inquire about something they screwed up, it feels like you are being scammed. Note: you get some internet sometimes, but you ARE actually getting scammed in reality.

Technician came to my house Monday and informed me I needed a note from my landlord. He was super rude right off the bat. My landlord was ten minutes away. He said he’d come back after doing another house. Never did. Rescheduled for today and they never showed up. I called and they said they wouldn’t come until the 20th because the technician told them we had Covid. He said that I told him we had Covid. They never called me to inform me my appt had been changed. I informed the CS rep that the technician was rude and lying and I’d provide a negative test to prove that. That wasn’t good enough. They wouldn’t let me talk to anyone higher up and said there was nothing they could do. At this point I’m not sure they’ll even show up on the 20th. I feel like this was personal and has nothing to do with “illness” or a negative test would have sufficed. I’ve had MB for 2 years and am just trying to transfer services to my new house. The amount of disrespect from the technician to lie about my family for no reason just baffles me. I’m very disappointed. I’m enrolled in online college courses and work from home. Both require internet. I’ll have gone 22 days without internet by the time the 20th comes around. I wish there were better providers here. Morris Broadband is not it.Edited to add- when they did show up they forgot to file my paperwork so I got free internet for 3 months. Guess that’s karma doing it’s job. ?
