I had to go to the return department yesterday. Kelly took care of me and was the nicest Lowe’s employee I’ve ever met. She went above and beyond and was so pleasant and professional!

Boss man sent me in to get something, website said 2 was in stock, none to be found. After waiting 30 minutes for someone to help me I decided to leave. Guess I'll be getting what I need somewhere else.

I was on hold for 30 Minutes waiting for someone to answer in the kitchen department. I have a new kitchen and four bathrooms I need everything for but can’t get a hold of anyone to make a design appointment

Check your prices! They dont ring up the same as the posted price! Very deceptive and deceitful practices. And will argue with you if you catch it.

So, I had the most unbelievable experience at the Hendersonville Lowe’s today. I took 2 stepping stones and 8 bricks total of two different kinds to the register, which was apparently only self checkout. I attempted to ring them up but quickly realized there is no search option for things with no barcode. Naturally, I asked the woman attending the self checkout area what to do when you have no barcode. Her reply was a kind of smart remark saying “you didn’t write down the IM numbers.” The way she said it really didn’t set well with me so I replied “I don’t work here.” I asked what happened to cashiers that work the registers who can ring those items and her reply was “we don’t have that.” I said really, and she stated that it was a scheduling issue. Naturally, I asked how we proceed with ringing the stuff up and she said “I’ll have to go get a book.” She looked for a book and was unable to locate one so she logged in at the register and proceeded with trying to search for the items. She clearly had no clue. She was searching blocks and nothing was coming up so I had to suggest she search for pavers, then also had to suggest she search for stepping stones when the time came. All total, it took well over 5 minutes of her searching the system, ultimately never finding one type of brick and finally just selling me them at the price of the one she already rung up which was slightly cheaper. After experiencing this disturbing customer service it’s doubtful I’ll shop the Hendersonville Lowe’s again. I’m pretty sure I could go up the hill to Home Depot and pick similar items and also have someone ring them up for me. If you are gonna have customers do the work then install a system that functions and if I owned a business and had an employee say the stupid remark this cashier said to me then they would be fired immediately.

Generally speaking they have a good stock of hardware, if you can find it. More often than not I have to walk around and find a an employee to get help. I find that they're usually huddled ,talking to each other head down, not really looking to help her customers but more interested in hiding out. Once you get their attention they generally will at least point you in the right direction. It's basically self service.

I came in to get something from customer service a few minutes ago and no one was at the desk. Walked a little ways and I saw an employee. They had earbuds in and motioned to me to come to them. When I didn't they yelled to find out what I needed. SMH

Do not contract with this Lowes store to do a home project. The project coordinator will only help until he gets paid. When there is a problem with delivery, he won't answer his phone, texts, or emails. I ordered my materials months before the project began. Still, over half my material was missing. Nobody would contact me. They left me hanging to fend for myself. Not only did Lowes deny us Veterans discounts on certain items that we count on, they also will rip us off the first chance they get. I've been using Lowes for years. I think it's time for a change.

I have made 2 purchases since January and each time my contractor was given a very difficult time with being allowed to pick up my items, even though I gave his name and information at the time of purchase! I purchased a storm door yesterday and explained clearly that my contractor would pick up the door. I was told that he should just come to the pro-desk and he would have no problems. When he arrived, he was detained at least an hour even though I was called and I verified that yes, he was to pick up my door! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I am 70 years old and my contractor's time is valuable as well as mine. I don't have the trouble makers name, but it was the same woman both times!!! Both times management had to get involved even though my contractor had a copy of the sales receipt and I gave his name and verbal permission by phone and at the time of purchase. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO LOWES??? They certainly are not customer service oriented any longer!!!

It's a Lowe's. It's a big hardware store. A man's candy shop. (Or a keeper woman's) Do they have "it"? Yeah, they probably do.

Top 5 worst place to deliver too, you have to back your truck around the building and try to avoid hitting any lawnmowers or merchandise that's pulled up behind the building. If the older gray headed guy in receiving isn't there to unload you, then plan on being there for a couple hours at minimum!
