I've been to Laurel Park Animal Hospital twice for newly adopted pets, and they were great! I called 5 vets to just have stiches removed for newly spayed dog (couldn't take her back to rescue to have it done since it's closed due to hurricane damage), and all wanted to charge $$$ or were booking out months. LPAH fit her in and were very nice. I like that each room has a white board with pet's name and name of the vet and tech.
I will definitely be taking all my pets here going forward!

I cannot praise this veterinarian and this staff enough. The only simple way to put it is, if you want someone to really cares about your animal, it's here. Five stars and two thumbs up!!

Dealing with the problem of 3 days of diarrhea in my 12 yo Aussie: Excellent care and concern; clear thinking as well as compassionate. I totally trust Dr.. Herron in the treatment plans we arrived at and my dog had a very successful and rapid outcome. Good care is expensive and I don't think there were any unnecessary suggestions. I love to be able to pay people for their expert care!
I no longer use social media.

I have two dogs with a lot of anxiety. One is a rescue and the other a stray. To say they are scared of the vet is an understatement. This is the third vet I have been to since moving here and it is the best. Both Dr Pernell and Dr Herron are excellent along with the staff.

The staff is friendly and informative. I'm able to get appointments pretty quick and my pups seem to like everyone. Like they say, trust who your dog likes!

My little guy has gone to Laurel Park Animal Hospital since the day Dr. Pernell rescued him and saved his life. They are always so kind and helpful and do everything possible to help. My Cozzie has not received great news -- but I know he is in good hands with Dr. Pernell and the entire staff. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for loving, respectful, compassionate care of your pet!

Love them!! My girl had to have emergency surgery last year and they were fabulous. We unfortunately had to move and our new vet has even commented on how beautiful of a job they did. Super friendly and knowledgeable.

Have been coming to this practice for 20 years and will never leave! Dr Pernell and his colleagues are excellent. They are compassionate and thorough and have extremely good follow up. The support staff works hard to handle everything and it shows!
