Have gotten all four of my dogs from here and they're all so healthy and blessings. Jessica is an amazing manager. I even used to get my dwarf hamsters from here as a child. I'm so glad this pet shop is still around. Highly recommend!

I went to this pet store just to browse while I waited for someone. I was very impressed. Yes, there were a couple of dead fish that needed tending to, but they were just opening, and the rest of the environment there told me they would attend to them soon. The puppies and birds were all well cared for and probably the reptile/amphibian aisle as well. I couldn't walk that aisle because of the blonde tarantula. They are well stocked and clearly care genuinely for their charges. The exotic bird prices are a bit over the top, but in general, I would recommend this store to pet lovers.

Very cool variety of pets clean and smelled nice. The bird we got is awesome only sad we couldn't buy another dog.

I live in Asheville but buy my fish from this store. the fish a healthy. The plants are clean. Service is good. Never been disappointed.

You can tell they take very good care of their animals, especially the birds. This is a VERY good sign considering how many pet shops treat their animals the same way Walmart handles their inanimate objects.

Birds, cats, dogs, lizards, mice, rats, fish, snails, snakes, bunnies...they have an assortment. Other pet related items. The pets seem to be well taken care of

Not a bad little shop. I came down from Johnson City to check out what type of birds they carried. Not a huge selection mostly green cheeks and Quakers. Pretty lacking in variety and prices are on par with most major chains. Personally I would stick with direct purchase from a breeder for better prices and more selection.

This is the best place to get dogs reptiles fish and birds because they have a large variety to choose from, but the birds are really annoying so if you don't like loud high pitch screeches then I recommend wearing military grade ear protection.

Unfortunately our recent experience was not good. Bought a puppy in part as he was to be left alone in a cage after day as the other was adopted. We have almost 100 years of combined dog experience but as soon as we got him home my wife noticed fleas so we dealt with that. Got him to vet within the week and they took comprehensive tests only to learn that there was also an internal issue so got meds. and went back to Pet shop outlining all the problems. They did cut a check for the latest one but when they asked each other where he came from they all gave each other this look of regret in RE: to this breeder. We hired a top trainer and both he, the Vet and another breeder all agreed that they see behavior that is typically attributed to someone over breeding to make money, also possibly taken from mother too soon - so sad and we are not going to abandon him, will continue to cut checks and love him the best we can. Bottom line, ask a lot of questions, demand supporting documents, get breeders name and look them up.....etc., Caveat Emptor !! Won't go back.

Love this pet store. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, including if you need help with a rescue parrot. Food, toys, cages, perches, extensive inventory for everything your bird needs. Or your reptile. Or your kitty or puppy. Animals look well taken care of and healthy. They don't last long here, either. Reputable, local breeders used is my understanding. Overall a wonderful store with great staff and lots of exotic pets and goodies.
