I have been trying to cancel my membership for months now. When i signed up i was told there was no cancelation fee. When i went to cancel i was told if i waited until the six month mark i didn't have to pay the cancelation fee. Now I've tried to cancel today and was told there's two additional fees. I will never in my life join another YMCA. What a horrible place!!!

Love going here. Friendly staff. Clean. Relatively small size and probably on the verge of needing to expand, but plenty of times are less crowded. Leo is a superb trainer & instructor.

Hendersonville is a great place to exercise and meet like minded health enthusiasts. I go every day!!

Iv done the tour of this gym. It’s nice, but overwhelmed with older people. I’m sure there is a younger crowd that attends this gym. They seem to have nice amenities for as small of a YMCA that it is, iv been to some others that were larger, and it seems at a glance it’s a clean facility. I would like to attend if the price wasn’t so high.

Great friendly staff and excellent whirlpool and sauna though quite small for both, in terms of being co-ed. And the door to the sauna is very hard to open

The Hendersonville Family YMCA is terrific except for the aging hot tub which it has difficulty to keep operating consistently. That notwithstanding, the facility has up-to-date equipment, spacious workout areas, a terrific pool, and most important, a terrific staff.

I enjoy the wide variety of Group Exercise Classes. The instructors are top notch. The staff at the front desk are very personable and helpful.

5:45 am HIIT and Body Pump classes, instructors and staff are all fantastic. I moved here 5 months ago and started taking the classes day 1. The facility is satisfactory and typical of some older Y structures. Free weights, machines and cardio equipment are adequate for a small facility. Really cool that they have an indoor pool and classes throughout the day; my wife takes advantage of those.

Clean and exercise machines/weights kept up nicely. Lots of classes, well attended, and the pool is popular for laps and water aerobics, etc. Not too crowded but busy.

Great first experience! Everyone was adorable and very serviceable. I play basketball mostly, but was impressed with the ball quality and the cleanliness of the court. Come hoop, highly recommended for pick up games. You (YMCA) need to start a league*

How lucky and bless we are to have. The Hendersonville family YMCA in our backyard! So many wonderful programs, so many great trainers and such a family-oriented, welcoming environment!

Let me start by saying I was going to rate this place higher but since today I have changed my mind. Most of the staff is alright but there is this one lady named Lorie who was very disrespectful and would even let us borrow a football. Also, they never refill their vending machine. The vending machine literally has no drinks and they have very little variety in snacks for after workouts.

My medical provider has provided a free membership and I've gotten a personalized exercise machine program and am making it part of a regular thing. I was so pleased that I could use all the equipment. I'm a short, small person and my previous experience at fitness centers was disappointing because most of the equipment couldn't be adjusted to fit me. All of the trainers are helpful.
