As a small business owner harbor freight use to be great to deal with and I have spent a lot with them not sure what has happened but none of the employees are on the same page about warranty’s one employee tells you one thing then a week later it’s totally different! The place has become a scam I’m paying off my card with them today then never going back . And this is the Hendersonville North Carolina Location

Was just shopping at my local harbor freight which I shop at often an am also a track club member, the manager working was very rude and disrespectful as I was just asking about availability on a item in the store. The cashier was very apologetic about her managers behavior and disrespect. I never leave reviews but the amount of disrespect caused me to have to leave this review

Customer service was bad I asked one of the workers if he had a certain item he said I’m not sure ask the guy at the counter , I proceeded to go to the counter and the guy was on his phone and I asked him if he can look up the item and see if they had it in the back , all the other harbor freight stores always radio in the back to verify if they have any more items in the back if they are out in the front . Well the guy at the counter says all we have is in the front and didn’t try to look it up in the system or radio after I told him it says you have it in store online he said the same thing definitely not happy with the experience.

I’ve shopped here for about 2yrs and have never had any issues but this morning (6/5/24- opening shift)- the staff that was there was above and beyond. The managers name was Alex, I think, and there was another young man on register 1 and honestly- the customer service was so far above par that I left feeling better than when I went in. THAT is how you run a retail establishment. Give those boys raises! You do not want to lose either of them!!!!!

Spring Black Friday sale had a few items I couldn’t pass up. Their magnetic tool bars are great and so handy. I’ve had no issues with their lights either. Hard to beat the little blue LED light with a hook and a magnet for $1. Their Icon line looks good but I haven’t bought anything from it. You can see their increasing the quality of their offerings though.

This store is in a run down mall but inside it is clean and organized. Staff is helpful and friendly. Good experience.
