My nearly brand spanking new Tacoma had had a tree fall on it and it looked like someone took a wire brush to the whole truck. There were dents, nicks, and scratches literally all over the entire truck. Every panel had something wrong and the roof was caved in. The insurance company did not total it so I was stuck looking for someone to fix it.I got estimates from 3 body shops and I chose First Aid due to the fact that they were able to get my car in for repair much sooner than the others. Another factor why I chose them is that their shop was extremely neat and organized and the building was purpose-built to be a body shop, so I knew they were pros.The customer service was amazing. Everyone I interacted with, from the front-desk person to what I imagine were managers, was very friendly and knowledgable. They took the time to look at the damage and explain how the process would unfold and how they would deal with my insurance company.The insurance company's initial estimate was generally low and First Aid found a ton of additional damage. During the repair, First Aid was excellent at communicating on a twice a week basis on the progress of the repair. This went a long way in helping me manage my expectations and planning for not having a vehicle.I've had the truck back for a few days now and it looks great! Considering how much overall damage there was, the truck looks brand new again. I'm very pleased so far and will recommend First Aid to my friends and family.

I am sure glad there are so many good reviews as my experience was not a good one. The initial estimate to repair the rear bumper by removing and replacing then buffing out a scratch on the back gate of our 2021 Subaru Outback was slightly over $2000. I asked if the buffing would fix the scratch as another estimate I had was to repaint the tail gate and repair the bumper for slightly more than First Aid. My insurance company said they prefer First Aid so I elected them. A few days after dropping the vehicle off, I get an email with an amended estimate more than double the original one as they now say they have to paint the rear gate and oh, by the way, the rear blind spot detectors have to be recalibrated because the bumper is being replaced. This amount - over $700 was not in the original estimate and they had planned to replace the bumper. I asked them to hold off painting the rear gate and I would be there in an hour as we live less than two miles from them. When I got there, they had already primed the scratch area. When we were told to come pick up the vehicle, the car had to be jumped as the battery was dead. (A two year old battery) The rear gate would not open with the back button. They said they would keep it over night to check out this problem and would replace the battery if it would not hold a charge. I ASSUMED they would bear the cost of a new battery as it was fine when I left it in their possession. Any way, they said they had ordered the battery and installed it. They claimed the retail cost of the battery was over $400 but would only charge me $275 or something like that. When I was suspicious of this cost I was told I was lucky I was not charged the $200 labor cost for removing the old and installing the new.Not a very pleasant experience.
