New customer, received my first refill in January 2024. Price per gallon was very high based on prices I had researched elsewhere. I wanted to communicate with Ferrell to see if this was an error or explain the high cost so I can make an informed decision on possibly changing companies. Sent at least 4 emails to the advertised contact address and received no response. Prices could be justified but as a first time propane user I wanted to be an informed customer. Poor rating for poor customer service.

Poor service. Called for refill before Christmas. By February we still had no response despite several calls to them. We had to switch suppliers. It is now just shy of April and Ferrell Gas has yet to pick up their tank, again with numerous calls to them. Do not recommend Ferrell.Not sure what happened to the company; as it once was reliable.

Worst company ever!! We are renting a house that already had their propane tank, otherwise we would have switched to another propane company yesterday!We prepaid over $500 on January 5. It’s now February 2 and we still haven’t gotten gas!! Not only that, but I received an email today that an order has been placed today and it’s a whole different order number than the one I placed on 1/5 (which is no longer even showing up in my account). And when I login to my account, it says I have a balance of $40 something that needs to be paid before they deliver. What the heck is that when we already paid over $500 for the full tank plus tank rental for the entire year and here we are a month later with no gas and now our order has changed and more money being requested from us without any explanation.Don’t walk, RUN from this horrible company! There are way too many propane companies in the area to be dealing with this nightmare.

All I can say is that the good reviews must be bought or are from relatives or customers that have a relationship with the local delivery outlet. It is just laughable how a business that was founded with a mission of "...providing meaningful moments, memories full of warmth, dependability you can trust, and outcomes you had only dreamed possible" treats customers who pay a fortune for propane like garbage. I implore you: PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MISERABLE COMPANY. They will never show up, you WILL run out of propane. Too many other choices.

I LIVE ON A HILL AND MY DRIVEWAY IS STEEP WITH A VERY SHARP TURN. I ALWAYS REQUEST THE DELIVERY IS MADE WITH THE SMALLEST TRUCK AVAILABLE TO NAVIGATE MY DRIVEWAY. FERRELLGAS ALWAYS ACCOMODATES MY NEEDS EVEN THOUGH THE TRUCK HAS TO TRAVEL FROM ANOTHER TOWN SOME DISTANCE FROM MINE. THE DRIVERS ATTITUDE IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, AND HELPFUL WHICH I GREATLY APPRECIATE, ESPECIALLY AFTER DRIVING SOME DISTANCE TO REACH ME.THANKYOU TO THE WONDERFUL FERRELL DRIVERS!!

Terrible! Had a leased tank from them, and for years they would deliver and than would pay upon delivery. The last time I called for a fill, I had to be below 50% remaining in tank, and than had to give them a dollar amount to fill to, really?? Of course I over estimated and had a credit on my account. Sold my home and requested to remove the tank after closing. I was told I would be credited back for unused propane, which I was not! The never picked up the tank, and than billed me for the annual lease fee on top of all that!!! Although there are limited propane company's in the area, I would switch to 100% electric before I ever use this company again.

Not sure where the mixed reviews are coming from BUT I've had nothing but good service from this company. When calling to get pricing, the lady I spoke to was very professional and knowledgeable. She understood that I didn't understand half the stuff she was saying and explained everything concisely. This resulted in me opening an account. They've refilled 3 times now and twice my gas has arrived early. First time was 2 days early. Second time was 5 days early.

This is the worst company. I called over 10 days ago to get propane. They charged me the entire amount to fill my tank. They told me it would be 5-7;days and have yet to fill my tank which today is day 10. When I called to ask what the hold up was, they said I was still not on the line up to get propane today. They then said I will most likely get it tomorrow. I have had nothing but problems with this company. This is the only service which requires you to pay prior to services rendered. The only reason I am locked into this company is because the tank was leased by the prior owners of the house. Otherwise, I would have left this company a long time ago. I do not recommend this company. Do yourselves a favor and go with a company that cares about your business and cares about people. The only reason I left 1 star is otherwise I cannot write this review.

Have had four deliveries in the last 18 months. 2 were partial (because they didn't have enough on the truck) and 3 were late. After waiting beyond the 5-7 business days I was told this time, called yesterday at 5:30pm to cancel. Was told truck was still out and they'd get to me before the end of the night. Watched and waited. They didn't. Driver arrived at lunchtime today and filled tank anyway. Also charged more than the quoted price. If pricing changes that much in the time it takes them to fulfill delivery obligations, maybe they should find better management or get better drivers.
