Be wary when renting here. I rent from here all the time and this is not the first time I’ve had a problem although I let the past ones go. I rented a sod cutter from them got to the job and couldn’t get it working. Eventually had to just come back to there shop and they fixed it. This cost me 4 hours out of the allotted time I had paid for. Keep it for an extra day because of the faulty equipment and they were not willing to do anything to make up for the lost time. Wanted to charge me for 2 days but really only got to use it for a day because of there faulty equipment. This was especially bad because of the relationship I had built with this company from previous rentals. Will not be going back.

I've Used king rental twice. Once to rent a hammer drill and once to rent a track loader. Both times pick up was quick and the equipment worked perfectly. They are conveniently located in downtown Hendersonville. It's so nice to be able to rent expensive tools that I don't use enough to buy for myself.

Don’t plan any work around these people they’re not even open the days they advertise for said they couldn’t open Saturday because they were short staffed but they’re only open for 4 to 5 hours

Good pricing on rental equipment. Employees were busy moving equipment in and out of the yard to get customers in and out. Overall good experience. Will return for future equipment needs.

These folks are great to work with, happy to rent from them. We had a 34' LVL ridge beam to lift into place and didn't know how we were going to do it. King's had a material lift that helped us raise it, nobody else in town had one. Prices are reasonable, sometimes half the cost of other places in town. If they've got what you need, you won't go wrong with the King.

They rented a auger to me that did not work. The bit was so dull that it wouldn’t even dig the holes. They was closed so I couldn’t return it till Monday. Called them and explained what happened and they said sorry you kept it over the weekend nothing we can do about it. Will not be using them ever again!

Kings is my go to place for renting heavy equipment always treated me fair , very personable ask how im doing and really care , there team of employees are excellent , great people and excellent service , they are on top of things and when i rent a machine its ready to go blades are sharp , greased and gassed up ready to go, gives me an edge over my competition by having machine when i need it and its running in tip top shape . Thanks King Hardware , i appreciate what you guys do there , alot of my operations would not be possible without you !

This place is terrible. Woodchipper broke down on me halfway through the day. They refused to come pick up the equipment and would not issue a credit or a refund. Take your money elsewhere
