Horrible experience with Autostar CDJR of Hendersonville. I wasted 4 days negotiating a price on a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon as well as to have my Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-road traded in. To just find out that the vehicle was sold to someone else. I wasn’t even notified, until after it had already happened. The salesman “Brandon Phail” truly lived upped to his name on this one and FAILED at providing good customer service and was rude about letting me know that it had happened. If I could give zero stars I would, don’t waste your time with this dealership they will just go and sell the vehicle your interested in to someone else. Without even letting you know until after they already did. Total waste of my time, it’s no wonder that all their most recent reviews are negative.

I've got an extended warranty on my vehicle, EVERY time my car breaks down I can never actually USE the warranty because I have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed because I cannot wait the 3 weeks for them to get a chance to even look at it. Hire more mechanics! Side note, I do not have any experience at all with the sales department. I can only comment on the service department.

I have been bringing 3 of my cars there . I've had a few problems with them . I have been marking my oil filter before bring it in for an oil change . I went in to pick up my ram 1500 rebel from an oil change . They charged me for for the oil change but they never did the service . The same oil filter was still on the truck .
They also love trying to charge me for services despite the fact that the truck is well within warranty . It's always an argument .
On another occasion I brought the ram in because it seemed to have been losing oil. They called me back hours later stating that they needed to put in an additive into the oil to see where it's leaking from . They stated they needed to charge me for that service because they couldn't tell if I am the one that caused the oil leak .also saying that since they weren't the ones who changed the oil last , I was responsible for the bill . I then had to waste more of my time by going in with a receipt showing them that they were the one who had last changed the oil .
Needless to say, I dont bring any one of my cars in there anymore . I fell robbed , a d taken advantage of.
I don't trust them to complete a simple oil change . I especially wouldn't trust them to perform a more complicated service . Trust is an issue with this dealership . You have to babysit them, and make sure they are actually doing what they should be doing .
I don't recommend them to anyone

A helpful dealership in every aspect. From courtesy to punctuality and reliability. The best price on the vehicle I bought. Knowledgeable and helpful salesman (Noah) and sales manager (Saul) that was willing to work out a great deal. Follow up phone calls, as well, to see how the vehicle was working out for me. Thanks, all, for a very professional and enjoyable experience in car buying. I would recommend AutoStar Hendersonville, highly!

Allen ripped me off, told me the truck I bought had a towing capacity of 12,000 lbs but after buying it and trying to toe with it I damaged the transmission because the ram 1500 sport only has a 6000 lbs towing capacity and when I confronted him he offered to buy it back but because it was “damaged” the truck was lesser value and I had to pay the dealership $2k to get out of it.

Trash. This place is a full blown scam. I’ve spent almost a $3200 on 3 separate occasions just to get my ac fixed. And it still wasn’t fixed. They continued to not only add problems that they couldn’t find the first time. But continued to include random things I didn’t need into my price. They wanted me to pay for a whole new set of tires when it wasn’t necessary. Basically they did all they could to get the most money out of me they could. I will never take my car back there

Avoid this place at all costs!!! I brought my Charger in for a recall on the airbags and was told there was also a recall on the alternator and that they would have to order parts for it. I took it in on Wednesday and asked if I would have the car back that day as I have a seizure dog and cannot be without a car incase he starts clustering. I was assured it was a one day job. I get a call a few hours later saying the broke a bolt getting the alternator out and that they needed to order a timing cover and would have it Thursday late afternoon and I would have my car back today. I call this morning to make sure they will have it ready and am now told that the part didn't come in and that it is on a national backorder and they can't tell me when they will have my car back to me. I advised that I need a vehicle in the meantime and was told they don't participate in a replacement vehicle program and I would need to call Mopar. I called Mopar and they advised the dealership is responsible to provide a loaner vehicle or rental which AutoStar is refusing to do. So now I have no car (but still have to make payments), nor do I know when I will have a car as they can't get the replacement part that they broke. The service manager advised this is a common occurrence with the bolts breaking. So why would you not be sure you could get the parts to replace this common occurrence before you take someones car in and cause it to be undrivable. I have had this car for almost four years and have never had an issue and now I am without a car for the unforseeable future due to a safety recall and neither the dealership or the manufacturer are making this right??? And right at the time I was shopping around for a new Charger. Guess I will avoid not only this dealership but Dodge or anything Mopar all together if they don't even stand behind their recalls and can somehow justify leaving someone without a car and without any answers on when they will even have a car back is unacceptable. Their lack of concern is disgusting. Beware if you have a Mopar vehicle prior to taking it in for a recall as the lady at Mopar told me that a number of their parts are on national backorder with no projected date as to when they will have them in stock.

This place has been overcharging us for years on the service side. I figured I let a few things slide here and there and they took full advantage. The last visit is when I brought back our Jeep for the SAME sensor repair that we OVERPAID for 3 weeks prior. They had the audacity to make me sign a waiver stating I'd be willing to pay AGAIN for a diagnosis that led them straight back to the exact same issue they did not properly fix. Any service manager that connects the dots between what's right and wrong would ben able to see this for what it is. This is an unsustainable business and the customers are getting screwed at every pass. Never again will I buy or service a Jeep in Hendersonville, NC Autostar CDJR.
