Me and my wife were racially profiled by a Caucasian woman at the self-check line she was looking at my clothes as if I was a bum which in all honesty I work a lot and make decent money I can afford it lol My wife, on the other hand, came in scrubs because she just got off from work and then minutes later another woman approaches me asking for my receipt she was a little aggressive and pushy tbh and then proceeds to tell me that one of my items were not scanned I told her that was the first thing I scan her and the Caucasian woman both looked at the bag closely and there energy and tone changed as if they were in the wrong which they were I came here to only get my groceries and leave not getting harassed by the workers I think me and my wife will start shopping at Aldi moving forward.

This Food Lion has the nicest employees.I often find items in stock here,that aren't available at other local Food Lion locations.its also located to Kerr Lake for those camping at Satterwhite point.

If you are looking for a preceding of heaven here on earth. This is the place you want to visit. It's so relaxing and the people and the staff are so welcoming. It sits on 140 acres where they grow their own grapes and Muscadines....
This is not your average farm and vineyard. This is a tourist attraction.... A MUST SEE IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA or want to take a vacation and just relax away from everything.... Air b&b's are available on the property....

This stores assistant manager Rocks! I called to ask if they could possibly make some kind of a donation for a neighbor of mine! He said absolutely! I have worked retail for most of my life. I kinda know a little! The first store I called said No. He did not want to put himself out there. It’s Christmas Eve! It is a state of mind. Do you want to be known as kind, giving and a listener or No! The second store chose charity! That to me is the best example! Thank you Food Lion on Garnet Street! Only give this food Lion a three stars because of the employees that they have working and also because of the drug activity outside in the parking lot and also the feeling that you may get robbed just by sitting in your car too long outside. It's in a rough part of town right behind. The place is north Henderson projects basically run down the lapidated houses and the lower income people living back there. God bless them but it's not about them. It's about the drug addicts and the drug dealers all around this place. Be careful
