terrible customer service since moving everything to some call center. nobody local to talk to is just a terrible business decision. Highly advise anyone needing propane to seek it elsewhere.

Mr. Alton, did a spectacular job. He was very kind, humble and friendly and very soft spoken. We have had him come to our home numerous times for numerous things and every time, he was more than a pleasure to have at our home.

A mixed bag. Their actual service and delivery people have been great and they have modern equipment. Their web site is pretty good. But they keep finding new things to charge for. Telephone communication is a problem (I only speak English). They no longer do inside installs, like connecting your appliances to the outside regulator (you need to hire your own plumber). They no longer want "small tank" (whatever that means) customers. They are charging my son $200 for a site survey even though they never told him there would be a charge. Overall, worse than the company I signed up with in 2005. Probably another once-good company ruined by head-office idiots.

I ordered propane at 30 percent. I'm down to 10 percent and no deliveries in the past 10 days. I used to be a valued customer of well over 12 years. It has gotten very cold. Our heater is set at 50 trying not to run out waiting for a refill. If they change and do better I will give a updated review. But right now. Run to a new company. Go somewhere who will bring you fuel. They want to have you run out and hit you with a leak test and emergency fill of over 300 dollars on top of what they put in the tanks. Don't come here for service!

Customer service is just not up to where it needs to be
I can get gas for my daughter but they will not let her get it even if she pays
Let tell you what you will deal with
My daughter was in the hospital with cancer she needed gas so I got her a little she was running out I called them explained the problem and told them what was going on
IT DID NOT MATTER WHEN SHE GOT HOME COLD HOUSE COLD PEOPKE
I GOT HER MORE BUT HAD TO JUMP THROUGH TO GET
THEY WOULD NOT WAIT UNTIL FUNDS CAME
THIS WAS SUX YEARS AGO AND THIS YEAR EVEN THROUGH THE BILL IS PAID NO BALANCE THEY STILL REFUSE TO DELIVER TO HER
THEY WANT ME TO CALL AND SAY IT IS OKAY TO PUT ON ACCOUNT
I FOR ONE HOPE THIS HELPS YOU DECIDE AS FOR ME I TRULY WILL NEVER GET GAS FROM THEM
OH I ALSO AM FIXING TO PUT GAS LOGS IN SO I WILL NEED TANK AND INSTALLATION BUT THEY WILL NOT BE MY SERVICE PROVIDER

I am not overly impressed, but then I don't have any experience with the competition either.I began by filling out the information requested on their website. It was straight forward. I received a quote, but I didn't get an email with a copy. I sent an email requesting the information, but never got a reply.I went through the process a second time. I understood that they would schedule a field inspection next. It never happened. I called, and it was scheduled. I expected the tanks to be installed after the site survey, but again nothing took place. I called again, and the field service was promptly scheduled.In summary, I didn't feel valued. It seemed that I was forgotten. I had to reach out to to AmeriGas for each operation~site inspection and site install. The corporate customer service did an excellent job of getting everything scheduled, but only after being contacted each time. There seems to be a disconnect between the website and scheduling.I paid in advance for services; received a receipt by email. The receipt was not itemized. When I called for that information, nobody had a clue. I'm hoping that now with everything in place, I will get updated. I did enjoy working with your field technician and delivery person. Both are dedicated employees. The field operations went smoothly.Like many businesses, it's clear that they are suffering from staff shortages due to Covid-19. Some of the communication issues I faced may be due, in part, to training new staff.Ironically, I received a detailed invoice as I was wrapping up this review. Other than the tank installation fee, there were no surprises (like fuel surcharges tacked on by trash collectors~my favorite). The install fee would have gone a long way toward purchasing a new or used tank, had I known in advance.Much like cell services, customers switch propane providers for the best deal. I'd like to think the major providers have field staff for emergencies like a leaking tank; an expense that small operations cannot necessarily afford.I have heard no negative feedback from neighbors using AmeriGas. It would be nice if they offered (in-store) services for recertifying tanks, or filling 100# tanks rather than my having to rely on 3rd party resellers.(Their website says they do recertifications, but their local store is closed to the public.)With inflation upon us, every dollar counts.Based on my overall experience, I have already recommended AmeriGas to another potential customer.

We were recommended to become a new customer with Amerigas by a coworker of my wife. We asked for a tank to be placed and filled. We have had the tank for over a week and still have no gas to have heat in my house. We have made phone calls daily and have received empty promises from customer service. I hope your other customers have a better experience than we have had so far.

Horrible customer service!!!! I have called 3 different times and have emailed 3 times and have not gotten a reply. When I call, I am on hold for more than 15 minutes. I finally got through on the third time and they assured me my gas was being delivered that day, but it was not. Now I am going to call to cancel my account with them because this is ridiculous.
