Great place to do groceries and have lunch. My husband and I were in the area for 10 days and we had lunch there twice. Salad bar is excellent and you can also buy things from the deli or the hot food bar. With the prices, being what they are having lunch at Ingles is a great value. Comfortable eating area is clean and well-maintained.

The Store serves chicken salad after three days on the hot bar. They wash mayo off the chicken and Cook chicken into some "Other dish."

This Ingles continuously disappoints. The salad bar is always old. The wings and meatballs in the salad bar section are always old and dried out. The "fresh" veggies are far from fresh. They're always on their last legs, and wilted, or soft. The prepared food is an embarrassment- the salad bar, wings, Chinese food and the fried chicken areas are always a disaster. Just look at this picture I took of the peas in the fried chicken section I took the other day. The apples in their apple and cheese packages are frequently moldy. I could take similar photos almost every time I go.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and wide aisles. Great variety. I wish there was a way the deli could call my name when my order is ready. My husband and I have both walked out without going back to get our lunch meats and cheese. That's our fault, not theirs!

This store, like most of the Ingle's Markets we've been inside of, is beautiful. Everything is fresh, and store is clean and employees friendly. I'm giving on a 2 star review because this store does nothing to enforce the "wear a mask rule" that is posted on all entry doors. Employees wear them but a significant amount of people DO NOT. Enforcement is easy...either have an employee stationed at door or tell cashiers not to check out the rule breakers.

Ingles prices in Hayesville, NC have risen unfairly during this Covid/19. Prices of all meats have gone up dramatically. Check out the fair prices at Wal Mart in Murphy, NC or Food Lions in Brevard,NC. Corn on the cob at Wal Mart .50 in Ingles $1, Steaks at Wal Mart $8.97, Ingles over $15. It shouldn't matter in these difficult times that they take advantage of the hard working public to make more of a profit. This is unexceptionable shop Wal Mart so Ingles takes noticed that you are making a statement. President of Ingles please comment on this site and come to Hayesville and check it out. Everything I purchased at Wal Mart was much lower than Ingles. Even one of your managers shops for food at Wal Mart.

Ingles is amazing. We live in the actual birthplace of Publix and have enjoyed great groceries and service. But the first time we hit an Ingles we were doing a happy dance. They carry things we cant get anywhere else. We love the Charleston Organics coffee in whole beans, fresh baked biscuits that do not contain malted barley. HOMEMADE guacomole that is better than restaurants. They have a " tomato bar" with luscious little ripe tomatoes you can mix and match. In the summer they carry amazing locally grown fruits and veggies. If you have ever had a home grown tomato from NC you know what I mean. My husband loves Nantahala sausage made in Franklin NC, and let me tell you, it is the real deal. I know, my family used to make sausage. Daddy was a famous for delivering it to local stores. We just discovered a brand of whole wheat pasta, Delallo Organic, that is delicate and delicous, you can't even order it on Amazon. The house brand cereal is a great buy and tasty. Boars Head meats, a walk in beer cooler...gelato in the deli...I could go on and on. My only "I would rather not" a is the chinese bar and veggies at the hot deli. Breakfast is good, as are the meats. All in all we love Ingles!

The customer service in the evening is horrible. They are very rude. The morning employees are amazing and helpful. They always have smiles on their faces and speak politely. So my #1 star rating is for the horribly rude evening staff.
