“Lowe's Foods is always a cute place that my family and I like to go when we need a few odds and ends! Even though a bit out of the way out in Harrisburg, Lowe's Foods is always staffed with the friendliest people and has great local foods. Our favorite thing to get here are the fresh Lowe's Foods hint of lime chips- my family is addicted!The items are a bit pricey, though, but the store makes up for it in it's cute ambiance and friendly staff. The beer den is also great with lots of choices and a very large selection of wine and local craft beers, which is hard to find.”

“Aldis has become one of my favorite grocery stores. The prices are reasonable. The produce is fresh. It's no frills but a great selection at a fraction of many competitors in the area. Also the nonuse of bags and quarter to use a cart help cheap people like me to get what they need reducing food waste and wasted money.”

“Food lions have always been extremely pricey. Well, since I moved here in 2008. With inflation, it's mentally stressful to go grocery shopping in some of these stores. I can give a thumbs up to Food Lion for being conveniently located within a few miles of each other. But, I don't understand the high price of strawberries, other fruits and vegetables. I understand the rolls of generic paper towels not being the best quality but, can you guys add a few more sheets. Let's have a consumer grown conversation about inflation and families struggling. Even if the pricing goes up on food and paper products, why should the quantity and quality also need to go down? People, we are still shopping. These places are not going broke. They are thriving, while their shoppers are merely surviving. It may not be evident what consumers are giving up, in order to feed and clothes their children but, it costs something. Some people are behind on rent. Some people may be letting go of life insurance or lights getting cut off. On behalf of the families in low income homes, please help by lowering the cost of healthy groceries. Its needed.

Yes, I just advocated for the voiceless!

I lost my residence not long ago. I became homeless so, I am speaking from lived experience. A person without a place to call home, is what? Homeless! It doesn't matter if someone offers a temporary place to sleep because it's still not your home.

I have no apologies for my rant because I see it as an opportunity within this season, to take a chance on the right people reading this post.

I posted my title with my name because having a title does not exempt me from going through what others go through.

For all you with curious minds, let me settle your thoughts by saying, I am not attached to my title, my title is attached to my purpose. I encourage everyone who reads this post, show love to someone today because, we don't always know, what someone may be going through. I carry myself well. I am always smiling. No one would know any part of my story, if I didn't share it!
