I had to go to CVS because my usual pharmacy was out of my medication and didn't know when they were going to get it back in so, I used CVS and Debra helped me at checkout and she was amazing, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and even helped me sign up for the Extracare Plus program which offers allot of savings! I couldn't be more pleased with the service and I'll be switching my prescriptions to them. Nicole at the pharmacy is also very helpful and friendly. They have great hour's, and very helpful pharmacy staff.
I hope that DOT gets the street work done soon because the only thing that is not so good is the entrance to the parking lot and drive through which isn't the fault of CVS. I'll be back regularly! Highly recommend.

Picked up my Rx. Not an easy in/out during rush hour.

The pharmacy at this location is horrible. My prescriptions are never ready when they are supposed to be and I constantly have to pull into a spot and wait at least 15 minutes after getting a text saying it’s ready. They don’t even attempt to fill a prescription until you get there. Highly highly frustrating

Absolute worst service ever. The people working there don't care, they're inconsiderate and basically worthless. I'd really like to leave some choice language here to express just how disappointed I am that CVS as a corporation allows this horrible reflection of their company to continue but hopefully what I've left is enough to encourage others to take their business elsewhere. BTW, Harris Teeter pharmacy in Surf City is MUCH cheaper, and the service there is exemplary.

My husband's prescription insurance changed this year to Express Scripts & we were issued cards with incorrect information on them. I tried my hardest to get it resolved & finally had the correct information. Walgreens didn't want to be bothered with changing the info in their system. So I transferred all of my RXs to CVS in Hampstead. And it was like night & day. Elsie was extremely helpful & helped me get the correct insurance information by searching on Express Scripts (Something Walgreens never offered or said they could do). The prescriptions processed with the correct co-pays. Elsie went above & beyond to help me get this figured out. Last month I spent $497 on 3 prescriptions. Today I paid $20 for the same 3 prescriptions. I love this kind of customer service!

This store doesn't support the safe use of needles, and the pharmacist is judgemental, stuck up and supports the spread of HIV and other blood transfered diseases. Get your prescriptions elsewhere people.

Pharmacy techs sometimes act like they are unhappy and they make you wait before they help you.

Wish I could put 0 stars. The head pharmacist is snooty. People like her are what's wrong with the world.. I've never seen somebody with such an attitude towards customers for no reason. I have witnessed her embarrass and deny a young couple trying to practice safe injection. It seriously pulled on my heartstrings because my own mother passed from catching MRSA because she wasn't able to get/use clean needles. I'm not an advocate for drug use, but I AM an advocate for SAFE DRUG USE. Regardless whether you are a user or not, there should be resources to use SAFELY, without being judged or humiliated. And people like this lady are the reason people are catching diseases, dying, and embarrassed to go get the proper things needed for safe IV usage. People like this truly disgust me. Not to mention myself AND another customer heard her and another employee talking badly about them as they walked out of the store, both of their faces about 18 shades of red.

This pharmacy supports the spread of HIV & other blood spreadable diseases and/or viruses. The lead pharmacist with grey hair in her 40s(I can see why she hates her life) was very unprofessional and chose to embarrass individuals. She has a poor attitude, a lack of a humanity being she played a part as pharmacist in this countries drug problem. And now chooses to judge those who are trying to use safe practice. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Go to the rocky point pavilion. Trust me their customer service is remarkable and they don’t put a mark up on your prescriptions. I paid twice the amount I should have here for my prescriptions in comparison. Unfortunately we live in a world where pharmaceuticals had created an epidemic, and now there’s a whole online force willing to shut down businesses who act unkindly to those affected by such events. So best of luck to you guys.

Just listened to couple calm down two younger individuals before getting out of my truck and walking in. They were discussing the safe use of injection practices and how rude the pharmacist was. I’ve been here a couple times and have had similar customer service issues. So I got back in my truck and just went home. I don’t support a brand that played a part in the drug epidemic that has affected just about every family in this country by now, including my own. I would recommend you get your prescriptions else where, due to the lack of care the staff clearly shows and how long it takes them to fill a simple prescription. I’m personally changing to Rocky Point Pavilion Pharmacy, they have a wonderful staff and offer free safe practice kits and information for those in need of treatment. I have used them for years, but I moved and this cvs just happened to be closer.

The pharmacy is a joke. The main pharmacist is rude, & clearly doesn't care about the customers, I watched her embarrass a young couple trying to use safe injection practices, then stuck her nose up at them like she was better than them. She was rude from the very beginning. I also heard her and another pharmacist in the back talking about them in a judgy manner as they walked out. It's clear who is working JUST for a paycheck, and who is working because they care. I do not recommend! Wouldn't come back. Not to mention I've had problems in the past with this same location. I had to wait for several hours for my prescription that my doctor told me he had sent in. They're customer service is terrible, and they clearly don't care about people who need their meds or health issues.

Excellent service! It’s that time of the year, and the ladies were working hard to fill prescriptions and help customers. HUGE thank you for following through with the VA insurance!
