I've been with Self Storage Brothers for the last six months. I give them 5 stars because they deserve it. They have been professional, flexible, and kind. I personally appreciate them, and hope they have a wonderful, prosperous new year. Thanks for everything.

The new ownership goes out of their way to help. They are alwaysavailable, and I've called about 5 times in one week. The prices are fair and they definitely helped me through my choice paying online. Right now I can only get 1 Unit, and am on a wait list.It was easy and Self Storage Brothers get an A+. I need two more units for my business and this is the company I want to deal with.

TL;DR: Key code didn't work, couldn't ever get anyone on phone, tried to charge me an extra month, took act of Congress to get deposit back, rent from Unlimited Storage on 33 instead. My family was moving and needed to rent a unit to temporarily store things in. This facility was the closest to our new house, so I rented a unit there. Because of COVID, I knew that hours were weird everywhere, so I called the listed number and confirmed that someone would be there before I loaded up a bunch of stuff and drove 40 minutes. The man that answered the phone said they were operating under normal hours. I went ahead and reserved a unit before I left, and I was automatically given a key code to open the gate. When I got there, the code wouldn't work. I tried everything known to man, and it wouldn't work. I tried to call the number where I had just reached someone an hour before. No answer. I continued calling for the next 15-20 minutes and never got an answer. I left messages. I emailed. No response. I walked around the perimeter, hoping an employee was inside. Nothing. (There is no office here, so why the man previously told me someone would be there under normal operating hours, I have no idea.) Luckily, another renter pulled in behind me and let me use his code to get inside. Several hours after I called, someone called me back. I explained the situation, and the guy told me to use a different key code. (When I went back, I did use that code, and it did work. No explanation as to why the original code didn't work.)Apart from the key code issue, the facility is fine. It's a storage unit. No better or worse than any other I've seen.Once we moved and I got our stuff out of the unit, I went to close out the account. This was six days prior to my 30 day rental term being up. The rental contract stated that the contract could be terminated upon five days notice. But when I tried to close out my account online, their website notified me that there was a TEN DAY NOTICE required to not be charged for the following month, and that to close the account I'd have to pay an additional month (for a unit I wasn't using). I went back and double checked the contract--definitely said a FIVE DAY NOTICE was required. I sent an email laying out all of the above and quoting from the contract. I requested to not be charged for the additional 30 days and to receive my deposit back. I got back a curt "Your [sic] set," as a response. I asked when I could expect my deposit back and was told "Once I inspect the unit this week I will process it. It can however take up to 30 days to process back to your card." Funny how Walmart, Old Navy, etc. can process a refund back to your card within 24 hours, but this company can keep your money (and the interest that they're earning off of it and everyone else's) for an entire month. I waited the 30 days and was prepared to wait a couple more when I got ANOTHER INVOICE requesting payment for the next 30 days...for a unit I had been out of for a month and was told "Your set." I responded back to the first email chain and said I had been out of the unit for a month, the account was supposed to be closed out, and I still hadn't gotten my deposit back. It was only at that point that I received an automated email saying that I had been "officially moved out" and they would "be refunding the total deposit amount paid." Four days later (33 days after I told them the unit was empty), the deposit is finally back on my card. I'm not sure it would have ever gotten there had they not tried to bill me again. I'm not sure if this company is just sloppy, or is legitimately trying to scam people. But rest assured, I won't ever deal with them again. We rented another unit from Unlimited Storage up the road and had no problems. The owner met us out there twice, gave us our deposit back within an hour of asking for it, and the prices were similar.
