Came as a walk in as soon as they opened and they were able to get me in fast for an inspection. Very kind and professional people. I didn’t catch the name of the man helping me but my paper shows the mechanic as James, so huge thank you to James!

I would give a 0 if I could. Had issues with the one on Dickenson Ave because of their dishonest business practices, but I never could have imagined it was a SHARED issue. The service tech lied to my face and said the engine light diagnostic test was "very complex and time-consuming". Then he proceeded to ask me when my next available time for next week would be. Absolutely not. I called my father and he said Auto Zone does it for free, and it is neither a complex nor time-consuming service. I was in and out of Auto Zone in five minutes, and three minutes of it was waiting in line! If Pughs lied to me about such a small service, then I am genuinely terrified to take my vehicle in for a more costly one for fear of the implications. What a disgustingly dishonest business!

Pughs is the only place I trust with my vehicle in Greenville. The family is the salt of the earth type of people. They have a shuttle service driven by Joe, best driver ever and always so pleasant! I always know that what they tell me is the honest truth!

Had my jeep in for an alignment, rotation and to have a new tire put on that had been ordered. Tim was very helpful in getting the new tire ordered and setting up the appointment. My dad took it in for me and waited there while the work was completed. The spare and new tire were to placed on the front and swap sides for rear tires. Got it home and had 1 new on the front and 1 on the back. Called over and spoke with Tim again. Apologized and had it brought back in and tires moved to where they should be and realigned same day. When we got it back noted that the rim with the new tire was dented, husband went over to talk with them about it. He was shown a picture of the sent and was told it was there before the rim was touched. (I know my jeep and it was not dented prior to the new tire being placed on the rim). It looks the dents are where the rim was placed on the machine to put the new tire on. Jeep was taken back over for them to look at it. Still maintain that dents were there prior to new tire being placed on it. No one ever notified me or my dad who was there both times it was worked on that the rim was dented. (A $650 rim). Only option offered was to let someone they know see if they can straighten it out and they pay for that. At this point that is a hard no for me, because I don't know that if what they want to do can even be done or make it worse than it is. Manager told husband that employees get fired if they dent rims. I don't believe anyone did anything to it intentionally. I believe the machine did it based on where the dents are and that is not cause for an employee to be fired. However letting someone try to "undent" it...is not an option. Nor is not notifying a client prior to work being done of a dent and showing it to them before the work is started. Showing me a picture after the fact and that we were the ones that brought it up..doesn't prove to me that the picture was taken before the work was done.

Took my truck there for an alignment, Called Saturday Morning right before close, Got it in monday morning first thing, Truck was done in no time. Great quality team of guys at the front, Answered all questions i had promptly and thoroughly, I highly recommend pughs to everyone looking for a quality job done right.

I've taken several cars here for things like alignments, safety inspections, and wheel balancing, and they've had reasonable prices and good service every time. Recently I was working on my 2003 Boxster in my driveway and realized I needed a press to replace the worn motor mount, which I didn't have. I called, and while it isn't the kind of thing they usually do, they pressed the new mount in for me, and only charged for 1/2 hr labor.

Theses guys took care of me when I was out of town and on a schedule. It's first come first serve. They exceeded expectations getting my car in, diagnosing and then delivering great, completed job value. Yep, I needed a set of four tires and they did me right. Got my state inspection handled too - they do more than tires. Very satisfied.

I came in first thing in the morning just to get a front end alignment, I was told a 30 minutes to 1 hour wait. After waiting for almost two hours for them to not even touch my car, I was told just another 30 minutes. I left and came back again after 45 minutes just to be told again that it was going to be another 30 to 45 minutes. Needless to say I waited 4 hours for a simple alignment.
It’s just ridiculous to not be honest about an extended wait time from the get go, instead of causing someone to waste their whole morning.
