l have visited this office several times l have no complaints. My most recent visit, l saw Jennifer Perry. She was kind, thorough, and had the best dispostion, everything you want displayed when you are ill. The intake staff have always been attentive and professional during each of my visits. My only suggestion would be to leave a sign up sheet on a clip board on the outside because at my last visit l arrived first but this KIND guy decided to get out his truck and stand in line as the first person there. He didn't care that l was first nor even a lady. That sign up sheet would remedy situations like this.

Had a wonderful experience today. They really helped me a lot. The nurse was very comforting when I was anxious. The doctor was knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Little bit of a wait, but it's always like that with urgent cares. Better than going to the emergency room and sitting around for a day.

Told to wait outside and come early for a test before coming inside for my appointment. Called when arrived and validated where to be. Waited 30 minutes and they give my appointment to someone else saying I didn't show up. Unorganized.

I informed the front desk attendant that I had a positive Covid test at home and that I was having breathing problems and needed to see a dr, she just looked at me and said well it’s viral and you should be home in quarantine for 5 days. I then asked oh so you’re saying I should stay at home and not seek medical help. The attendant stated I can see a dr but it’ll be over 3 hr wait and it’s normal to go through a list of symptoms she was calling out. I walked out and went to another urgent care who gladly took my insurance and set me up immediately to see a provider. Will never return to physician east for medical help. I wish there was a way to give a half of star on this forum

I went in (1/6/24) suffering from a medication mixup while my doctor was on leave. They took me back fairly quickly as the waiting room was packed. The nurse identified with some of my problems and actually gave me an ice pack to help with it- it was a trick she used to help herself. She was wonderful and Emily Richey treated me. She was amazing, both the ladies were. Emily preformed a few quick tests on me and got me what I needed very quickly. I am SO GLAD I went there instead of the ER. Wonderful people, wonderful help, I’m now 100% feeling better and if I go back I’m going to request Emily. She explained things I was confused about and could understand my frustration with the medication mix up. I’ve always gotten wonderful care from all physicians east areas and their urgent care was spectacular.

Visited urgent care needing stitches for an injury and the employees were extremely helpful. Shirley at the front desk, Dr. Zieglemann, and the nurses were the best.

Don't waste your time and money. Been to this location 5 times and 3 of them they were closed early, not like an hour early but closed by 11am. Wait times are 3 hours no matter how many people are there. Found a new location to go to and will not be back.

Went to urgent care at Physicians East. There were several people in front of me but they moved everyone along very smoothly. The people that worked there were very pleasant, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Roberts tended to me with care and professionalism. I would definitely recommend. Glad I went there instead of the ER.

Nice staff but unfortunately they only accept certain insurance. Disappointing seeing as Physicians East is one of the larger groups here in ENC. With so many folks not understanding the difference between needing emergency or urgent care, it’s easy to understand why our hospital emergency rooms are crowded when the urgent care only accepts certain insurance. Thank you to the receptionist who was able to point us to another facility that was able to help us! You’ve gotta love when facilites care more about money than their community.

This place did not hesitate to see me to give me the quality and professional services I needed right away. The staff was amazing. I've never bragged on a nurse with a needle until this visit. Thanks ECU Physicians!!!

This is the best urgent care I've been to by far. All of the staff that I came in contact with was caring, polite, and patient. The facility was neat and clean. I was in and out within an hour and a half. Great first visit.

They were very nice ppl and helped me fit all the tests done before my current insurance coverage ended so I have a peace in mind. I appreciate the considerate and kind acts! They also estimated very accurate waiting time for me and allowed me to re-enter when I came back so it saved some time while I could drop my bf back to work. That being said, I did notice a long line of waiting and they did close when the capacity was full as a practice, so come early if you need to be seen

3rd world in there. Non-communicative staff. Egregious wait time. Less than sub-par standard of care. After an almost 5 hour wait for my child to be seen for what could have potentially been a fracture, was told the X-ray device was inoperable and sent to a different location. Might I remind you, sat for almost 5 hours to be told this when they KNEW it was non-operational. Received x-rays at another location and were sent home. Received a call after 11:00am the next day with partial results. Had to call back HOURS later for the rest of the results which amounted to absolutely nothing being that my child was still in pain. The nurse on the phone had tons of telephonic courage and was dismissive and rude. If you're not able to see your primary care physician, I'd recommend utilizing a youtube "how to" video before stepping foot in this place. I dare you to send me a bill...

Since relocated to this area a year ago, I have been to this facility twice. The staff have always been professional, attentive, efficient and clearly work together. They are much better than sone of the duke and unc urgent care facilities in the triangle area. And my doctor didn’t mess around and got right to the cause of my issues. Thank you doctor Z. Also, from my perspective, they can perform much better than the Vidant primary care /internal medicine. Thus, I requested a pcp from physicians East vice Vidant.
