It’s actually a really nice local music store for instruments/accessories/music related books. They have a fairly good price and the store is really nice. Good place if you’re looking for instruments or music related products.

As a smaller music store with a more intimate atmosphere, I did not expect this store to carry much of any of the more niche guitar accessories, and at first glance, I suspected that they only carried acoustic guitars. I quickly found the small audition room to the side that displayed amplifiers and a small selection of electric guitars. The employees and the owner are all incredibly helpful, patient, and kind, and even if they may not be able to directly help you find something at their store, they are still willing to go above and beyond, in my experience. They carry a myriad sound equipment, instruments, cables, strings, bows, microphones, cymbals, top hats, mixers and PA systems. It may be a small store, but their inventory is no slouch. Also, they're open on Saturdays! What more could you want?

Went in and was greeted right away. I was looking for new guitar strings and also a set of violin strings. They had a nice selection and very good pricing. I didn't have to much time but I will be going back again.

If I could give negative stars I would. The owner of this store is extremely rude. I placed an order on their website, never receiving a call to let me know my order was in. When I went in over a week later to the store to pick up my order on my own, the owner tried to give me someone else's box (that didn't have what I ordered), tried to tell me they didn't have the book in (It was literally right in front of my face, so I picked it up and said "You mean this book right here?"), and then had to be told by whoever he called on the phone to fulfill my order with what he had in the store. I can only guess, or hope, that he didn't think we could hear him, because then my child and I heard him say, "Well, what benefit is it for me to process their order through my store". My child and I looked at each other and I had a Katt Williams "Did you know I could see you??" moment. He finally came out and gave us the items I ordered within 2 minutes and then tried to repeat "Thank you for being so patient" like I don't personally speak customer-service-passive-aggression fluently. If I didn't have to rent my child's violin from the location, they would never get another cent from us.

Spoke to "Jacob" on phone about a week prior to going in to see about getting some work done on a 3/4 violin. Jacob was very helpful and was forthright when I arrived with the instrument for repair. I look forward to hearing from him if he finds what is needed for grandson.

McFayden music is showing up with the best customer service, and here is why: A friend of mine recently bought a guitar for his girlfriend, and he walks into McFayden to look at amps because he wanted to make sure it worked (he got her a Les Paul, do you really blame him for wanting to try it out first??). Instead of buying an amp, they offered to let him borrow one *free of charge* to temporarily test out the Les Paul. Turns out the guitar sounded more amazing with an amp rather than without. No brainer. This was probably the most friendly customer service he has received and thankful for their consideration and kindness to allow him to do this. They also recommended a few picks that synergized better with the Les Paul based on a small description of what he was looking for, and got them at this music store. Bottom line: Exceptional customer service to say the least. You made this customer and his girlfriend very happy.
