Contacted lowes about returning a ac unit because it didn’t fit my window. Explained the situation to the first employee and she stated “that it should be ok to return depending on the manager if they are a d&$k” spoke with a manager and he was explaining the policy that was contradicting it’s self, asked to speak with the store manager and explained every from the employee to him and said he would honor it due to the situation being a grey line area. I arrived at the store minutes after closing WHILE customers were still checking out and had an employee come to the door and let me know they were closed. I understood and let him know I spoke with the store manager and he said to come up to return it. The staff member then told me to leave annd try angain tomorrow. Asked to speak with him and the original manager came out and told me I’d have better luck at Home Depot. I am very displeased with the inconsistency from this store. After returning this unit IF they let me because that same manager will not be working tomorrow or pass on any information I will NEVER give my business to another lowes store again.

I bought this today at Lowe's and used it to sand drywall plaster on a wall... I didn't use it for more than 5 minutes and it was already broken... don't buy it anymore it's garbage...

Went 6-4-24 looking for shower bench. Couldn't find one. Asst. Mgr, Mont stopped to by. We told him what we were looking for. He located it and said he would be happy to go find it. I had questions about the bench . He opened the box and took it out to see if it was what I needed. It was . He was very friendly and helpful We bought the item . Great customer service!

Bad customer service from the store manager at Greenville NC. I purchased a $1600.00 mower. I bought for my son, who was going to graduate from the police program and was buying his first home. So, I wanted to help him out. I got it out and used it for the first time, and after 10 minutes, it started making a strange noise that was coming from underneath. So I looked under to see if something was stuck underneath it. But I didn't see anything that was in the way. I went to the store and spoke to a manager, and they said that they would have the store manager call me. A WEEK went by without a phone call. I used it for the second time and again after about 10 minutes, it started making the same noise and again I looked underneath and again nothing. I started to finish mowing. It started up, but the blades would not engage. They finally started to spin after me, pressing the lever to get them started several times. I finished mowing, but the noise didn't stop. I called Lowe's customer service, and they said that it was up to the store manager if they would let me return since it was used. So I asked how else I was supposed to know if it worked, if I didn't use it. It was less than 25 days since I purchased. Well, within the return period. I had called the Toro, and they said that it was up to Lowe's if they would return. I called Lowe's and spoke to John, the store manager. All he said that they couldn't take it back because it's been used. He said , "Next time, buy the warranty." So I guess I'm out $1600.00 and stuck with a crappy Toro mower.
So I guess you have better luck buying something at a yard sale or a thrift store. You'll get better customer service.

I go to Lowe’s for the customer service. I went to this Lowe’s in hopes of receiving that customer service. Unfortunately I did not receive it. After asking someone to help with getting some wood cut I patiently waited, and waited, and waited. After 30 minutes of waiting and having multiple people pass by but not help I decided to go to Home Depot. Very bad experience. Definitely won’t visit this store again.
