Dowdy Student Stores are the campus stores for East Carolina University, located in the Main Campus & Health Sciences Student Centers and athletic venue Fan Shops. It is a cool place with a really nice, spacious store with lots of options and a downstairs. It offers books, course materials, official ECU Pirate apparel and logo merchandise, while The Tech Deck offers computers, laptops, tablets and accessories. Reviews note the staff resolved a last-minute graduation need in record time. However, a warning states to be very careful buying computers from the bookstore, citing an issue with a warranty and an insane run around from everyone associated with the bookstore, including the manager. An update confirms that after much communication, a refund was received. The store is easy to get to and access.
