Rented from them for almost 4 years, the people at the rental office are very very unprofessional and unpleasant individuals, including the landlord Gena. Their character lack compassion or concern towards their tenants. My neighbors in adjacent units constantly complained and confirmed my concerns about them. Needless to say, they both recently moved a week apart. I, too, am scheduled to move. When you express the urgency for things to get fixed, they respond by saying if you dont like how they prioritize, put in 30 day notice. In my opinion, the overcharged small units are very old and their renovations were cover ups of the uneven floors due to the settling duplex.
Not only that, this areas has changed tremendously since I have moved here. Behind the house, property was expanded. Now there are dogs, chicken, and roosters continuously barking, clucking and crowing throughout the day. Unable to open keep back door open anymore without the noise. In my opinion, what used to be a nice quiet spot is now not worth the money they charge.

I would give them a negative score if I could but NEVER EVER EVER rent from this rent company. The manager is a scam artist and the rent is always different than what they tell you. My rent was 650 when I moved in and was raised to 750 and they didn’t upgrade or fix a thing. The day I moved in the downstairs bathroom was leaking and that promised to fix it and never did. Then told me to pay 850 for my rent and late fee and then after I paid it they lied and said I didn’t pay. They are the worst ever and unless you are completely desperate and have no other choice do NOT rent from them EVER! You would be better off living under a bridge.

Been renting from them for a couple of years now since moving to enc. Never had any issue, on time and prompt service calls as needed. Allyson is awesome. Would recommend renting with them 1st before others in greenville nc.

I’m not sure what the negative post are about. I have not had any issues. It’s different with not having maintenance, but the contractors come without a problem. I know they are direct, but I grew up with that so I can deal. No complaints over here!! Thank you B&B Realty for housing me when I needed it most.

DO NOT RENT ANYTHING from B & B Realty! If your unit needs repairs you’ll have to contact code enforcement to guarantee things will be fixed! She’s quick to evict, God forbid if you find yourself in difficult times even if you’ve never not payed your rent. Pay attention to any leases written because she’s quick to commit fraud writing out tenants initials and signing names. She’s a hateful, spiteful individual who cares about no one besides herself and the money she can stuff into her pockets. I truly believe that what one puts out into the universe and how you treat people will come back ten fold. She (Gina) will get all that she rightfully deserves and has earned!

I never leave reviews, but in this case I had to! Gena tried to raise my rent from $650 to $1800 a month because I would have been considered month to month. I understand that your rent increases when you’re month to month but I have never heard of it increasing almost 3 times the amount. When asked if I could resign my lease I was told no & the lady that works in the office for her told me “she raised your rent that much to motivate you to move out”. Everyone told me to try and fight it in court but I simply moved, because a person like that no longer deserved my hard earned money. Rent from her ONLY IF ITS YOUR LAST & I MEAN LAST RESORT.

I’m not one to leave reviews, however, having experienced this for myself I can’t help but to speak on this. I had heard nothing but bad things about Gina but being the person that I am, I don’t judge people based off of what everyone says because there’s always 3 sides to a story. Anyhow, I’m in a bit of a situation and needed a place for my children and I to stay due to a recent separation that pretty much left my kids and I with nothing and it’s really close to the holidays. I work full-time. I make the income that’s required. So I applied and was approved. At first, they kept trying to say I had an eviction when I have never been evicted in my life. They were trying to charge me 2x the rent for just the deposit so I had to go and get proof that I’ve never been evicted. I got the proof, they lowered the deposit to 1 month’s rent plus the first month’s rent to move-in. Cool. That’s normally how it works right? Okay, so again with it being the holidays and this an unforeseen separation that just randomly happened I chose to go through a program (Greene Lamp) to see if I could get one time assistance with covering just the deposit so that I can still get my kids a few things for Christmas. The money wasn’t the issue. I was trying to pretty much “kill 2 birds with 1 stone.”. I explained this to Gina and she was EXTREMELY rude and kept talking over me. She said, in a very nasty and aggressive tone “if you have to get assistance for a deposit then I don’t want to rent to you.” That’s discrimination for one. For two, the assistance is honestly OPTIONAL. I could cover the deposit but again, I was trying to just work some things out since Christmas is literally next week. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. Gina needs to understand that we all fall on hard times and as a leasing manager myself, I’m sure she has seen it all and heard it all but don’t take that out on me! I have proof of everything that I am currently dealing with and going through. I have great rental history and references. Never been evicted. Never paid late. God forbid Gina ever falls on hard times and needs the same assistance that she looks down on everyone else for. She was very VERY rude to me. I’m glad I didn’t pay the deposit myself because I’m sure I would have regretted it.

I applied for an apartment was approved online by Gina, then when I talked to her over phone and told her my circumstances that Social Services would be helping me as a 1 time only to pay my deposit and have lights turned on she rejected me saying if I needed help from Social Services then I must couldn't afford the place. I tried to explain my situation that this was a 1 time only and I was only eligible due to the fact that I now had my 2 grandsons and had temporarily custody of them and this was the only reason I was recieving the help and she still refused me. I felt this was discrimination against me for having Social Service to help me. I'm 57 and on disability with a bad back only trying to take care of my grandsons and give them the best life possible in a decent environment.
