Bought a 2011 Hyundai Accent from them, check engine light within the first two months, spent as much on maintenance in the first year as the car cost. It did last, about a year and a half until I traded it in for a new car, but it was constantly having issues, expensive to maintain, unreliable. They buy these cars from dealer auctions when dealers receive trade-ins that are too old, or cheap, to sell on their lots. No quality control, no making sure it's a reliable car, it's bought at an auction, marked up, sold as is. If you're a car person, and know what you're doing, then this may be a good place to shop. If you are a consumer who needs a reliable car and thought a dealership would do some Good Faith Due Diligence, then look elsewhere. Worse car I've ever owned.

Brought a car from the in 2022 in Nov of 2023 had accident which totaled out car and ins paid off. After mths of not receiving the title bc we brought the car back from the ins co I asked about title and was told it was electronic title called ins co to see if they help they called dealership. Well long story I went in there demanded my title and has thrown out. Then my son went there and they gave him a paper said he can take to DMV for lost title. Well y’all today DMV tells me that the paper work they gave me was not even the right paper work and they have had the title since 4/2/22 . The title was never notarized from them to me and the paper work they gave my son was not even for the right title. So my choices are have my son go up there with what DMV gave us today and hope they fill it out right or have a sheriff go with me up there. I guess we see after tomorrow. Over 6 mths after car has been paid off and yet no paper title.
I was never late on no payments was always early never had any issues with them until this happen and all the old people that where there are no longer there and these new people in there have No Clue what they are doing.
Please so not buy a car from them.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE SCAMMERS UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO GIVE SOME MONEY AWAY THEN GO AHEAD. Very rude when your car motor locks up just 2 months of having it after I had to take it back 2 times each time they kept it over 2 weeks at the time without fixing the problem when they said that they did. put 1800 down the over 500 extra for tags and title. With a payment of 348 a month at a 27.5% interest rate. Steve was very RUDE would not take any accountability for this lemon he sold me.. AGAIN TO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IF NEGATIVE STARS WAS HERE THATS WHAT IT WOULD BE. ALSO STOLE MY STUFF OUT OF MY CAR WHEN I PAID TO HAVE IT TOWED THERE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My biggest regret not buying another car from American Auto sales I was sold a fraudulent car got into two accidents at another car dealership I won't disclose if my neighbor didn't put a hole in my transmission I would have still had my truck almost paid off this is the only dealership you can trust safety on the highway an highly dependable

Always a fabulous experience ..I adore Jeff, Tracy and Donna … <<<< that was last year 2021 and now a year later and Jeff is no longer here as he didn’t like how the new owners did business and I can see why .. I’ve purchased and paid off a half dozen vehicles with them and been a loyal customer since 2009 and having two horrible landlords the past six years who didn’t make repairs I got a better home and American Auto refuses to do a deferment to the end to help me out .. it’s all about money now with Jeff gone .. I will pay these two vehicles off and I’ll never come back to them again … Jeff kept his customers taken care of .. the new owners shouldn’t be dog walkers much less handle any business for people .. I’ll never return once these last two are paid … Tracy left and Jeff left and I’d say Donna will be next to leave and this place will be useless

I would recommend anyone to purchase a car from here. It can be hit or miss with your purchase. I purchased a Jeep Cherokee from them, the same week a hose busted, floor board was wet like the A/C was leaking. My truck sat for days with no one repairing it. I would lick it up and break down until finally it with working all together. I was out of $1500 and thumbing a ride to work 20 miles away
