I had an appointment this morning for WW to replace 2 defective panes.They get here and tell me they can't replace them because I have shutters. I had the shutters when the windows were put in. They told me that I would have to get someone to take the shutters (and part of the frame) down before they can relace the defective panes. This is NOT acceptable!The windows were installed from the outside originally. WW should do whatever is necessary to replace them. It should not be up to me to have to find someone to take down the shutter and then correctly put them back up!Service: Window installation

Window World installed the windows in my home ten years ago and I recently noticed some cloudiness in one panel. The representative I spoke with on the phone was so friendly and gracious and quickly said it's not uncommon and that they would replace the panel in about four weeks. The company reps came out well before four weeks and were just as helpful and friendly as the phone rep. There was no cost to me and I'm thrilled with the new window panel. I had a secondary question while the team was at my home and they addressed that as well. I love the windows and the great folks at Window World.

Lots of folks write reviews to punish a business. This is not one of those. We want to express our complete satisfaction with thid company and its products.We had Window World replace 30 windows in our home. I worked in construction for 20 years, and know good from bad. Vinyl windows are quite similar regardless of brand, so installation and exterior trim are the things that matter.I considered three companies--the two most expensive brands in our market and Window World. The big national brands' exterior trim work (the exterior trim that you actually see) was often shoddy. No matter how much you pay, if a product looks bad, you start to question other things.Our project was professional. It was a pleasant experience starting with Patrick Gebauer's no pressure sales presentation, then an expert installation, and finally, absolutely flawless exterior trim work by Hector,.And yesterday, two years after the job, I called the corporate office with a question. This morning, I received a call from the company's production manager--Kelly Bowen. He answered my question completely. Service after the sale--what a concept.Am I pleased with WW, and glad that we chose them? The answer is simple--YES. We just wrapped up a 2.5 year bad experience project with Window World. Bottom line. YOU ARE THE PROJECT MANAGERfor this company. I like that they are made in the USA. We had a sales rep order the wrong quantity of windows. They ordered the wrong # of doors. You can imagine during covid and to get the correct doors re-ordered. I tried to get past that, but then the door was hung incorrectly. They had the wrong hardware for the handle and keypad. They had a installer knock over a plant in the bathtub and shattered a pot. I had to clean up. No apology. Next contractor dropped something on the hardwood floor and it chipped a corner. They said they would fix it. That contractor showed up without an appt, I heard a man talking in my living room and he was in the house. We lost our services managerso he could work in another region. Not sure why he could not stay with us to complete the project? The second one was not much more helpful. Just an overall unprofessional company. Window World does not Stand on their services. Go to Andersen and get a better experience to improve your customer journey.

We moved to Greensboro in August. Some of the windows installed in our house in 2009 (see receipt in pictures) have a film on the inside of the glass that cannot be cleaned from a defective seal. First off, with quality craftsmanship, this should never have happened, especially on a window only 14 years old. My grandparents have the original windows in their 1949 house and they have no issues like this.We reached out to Window World first via email. They never responded. Eventually we called and were told by a sales rep that if the previous owner didn't transfer the warranty to us, there's nothing we can do. So this seems like a pretty scammy business practice. How is the buyer of a home supposed to know about a warranty that needs to be transferred if the owner doesn't disclose it?These are clearly Window World windows (see picture). This is beyond a warranty issue. Something was clearly done incorrectly, either with the manufacture of the windows or the install, as there are so many windows in our house that have this problem. We are just asking that Window World attempt to stand by their quality and replace the windows.Services: Window installation

Sent an email requesting a quote. We were contacted the next day and met with a salesmen at the house that same week. He went over different options and payment plans. One of which was a interest free credit card from Wells Fargo. Which he told both my wife and I as the balance went down so would the monthly payment. This is not the case. We have paid more than half of this balance since the windows were installed roughly 5 months ago and the minimum payment has stayed the same.We tried calling Wells Fargo and they just give us the run around. There were other problems with the salesman that were addressed with Window World.I purposely waited to write a review as I wanted to see how the windows performed. There were a couple of problems after the install which were corrected in a timely manner. The installers did a fine job but could have done a little better with the clean up.We have other renovations planned but the salesman left a bitter taste in our mouth. At any rate, windows look and work great, but we won't be doing any further business or recommending WW.Services: Window installation

Wonderful experience with Window World! I called in March to request a quote for 23 windows, 2 sliding doors and a new front door. They immediately called me back and we set up an appointment to get a quote. Sales associate (Kirk) was extremely helpful and honest with me and my husband about the style of windows we needed. We signed a contract and were told the windows would be here/ready to be installed in August. I received a call on July 6 that our windows were here and ready to be installed-they could be installed the very next day. Courtney was so friendly and sent the BEST crew out. The crew completed installation of 23 windows, 2 sliding glass doors and a front door in one day! They worked nonstop from 8am to 7:30pm. A site supervisor came out around 6 to make sure everything was going well and was very friendly also. Very very pleased with our experience with Window World and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to get windows installed!Services: General door installation

My experience with WWotT was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend them to another consumer. It took over 450 days from the time we originally submitted a deposit to the time the work was completed (17 windows). They mis-measured the windows, brought the wrong design, failed to meet their time commitments, and had to be reminded regularly that we were still waiting on the work to be finished. They came to the house multiple time over nearly 18 months and repeatedly brought the wrong windows or were missing windows from the order. They'd measure and show up 2 months later to remeasure the same windows. The quality of the work was also disappointing. The windows we left dirty with sealant still overlapping the edges; the exterior caulking had large gaps between the windows and the brick and the windows themselves have abrasions where they rubbed against each other during transport. The only follow-up demonstrated was once they finally managed to complete the work, they were very proactive about requesting payment. When presented with a detailed breakdown of our experience, their response was lackluster at best.

Still waiting .... We signed a contract almost a year ago now, great salesman, no issues there, very knowledgeable and answered the questions we had. But we were told 4-6 months wait because of the pandemic, and that's fine. But now it's been 10 months and everytime we get someone on the phone, the date of installation get pushed another month. I understand we are going thru tough times, in every field including mine , but don't tell people 4 months if it's going to be over a year wait. We had other projects pushed back because we assumed the windows would be done by now. Every time we call, they say they will call us back and never do, we're the ones who keep calling to get updates. Don't mind the fact that we're redoing all the windows and deck door, it's over 10k project, it's not a 100$ project kinda thing. I would have been happy to pay someone else that much if it would be handle a little better.

These guys replace our Bay Window about every other year, due to mold. Twice they have ordered the wrong size. They just can't seem to get it to where it does not grow mold on the inside. It has been replaced 3 times.
