This is the worse Walgreens I have ever dealt with. And unfortunately it is consistently terrible. Terrible customer service, terrible pharmacy (they didn’t carry antibiotic drops for an ear infection, then told me I needed to call other Walgreens to find medication and transfer prescription). They never have items in stock and my husband’s last dealing with the pharmacy resulted in us changing stores. Unfortunately my son was seen at urgent care and unbeknownst to us, this was the pharmacy on file. Avoid this store if you can.

Friendliness, attentiveness, and basic manners can go a long way. Sadly, these attributes do not exist at the Walgreens drive through. Seems that I'm not the only one who has had complaints with the pharmacy. Hey Walgreens, have you read any of these reviews?

I recently gave a Walgreens a five-star review, the pharmacy was so kind there and helped so much. Today at this Walgreens was a stark contrast, put everyone else in the store was wonderful. Walgreens should focus on finding people that truly want to help

They let me know when my prescription is ready late and on Thanksgiving. For context this was two days later than I needed it and I had already gone back home and transferred the prescription to the pharmacy back home, which had my prescription ready the same day as I got back. Also this Greensboro Walgreens is trolling me. This Walgreens randomly sends out messages to me that my prescription is ready and when I call or go to the store they act like they didn't notify me (even though they did) and then they say that nothing is ready at all. In the past I've never had issues getting my antidepressant on time at the Walgreens back home where I'm from (I'm in college rn in Greensboro). This Walgreens in Greensboro makes getting anything you need painful and something you have to consistently fight for. It is like a chore to pick up or try to get my medication because the people here do not know what they are doing. I will be taking my business someplace else. I do not recommend using this Walgreens ever!!!

Retail side help is fine, the pharmacy is terrible. Disorganized, don't seem to know how to use the system, snappish and unhelpful.

I love this pharmacy it is so good. It's always busy and carries rare and unique medications that are hard to find. They administer vaccines, disease testing and even do compounding. I am very impressed with this pharmacy/store, it's staff, and the products they provide our community.

I work for University of NC at Greensboro and I like to use this pharmacy because it’s close to where I live and work. However, I will no longer be using this pharmacy and no other Walgreens. I’ve never been this missed treated. I get it some people are over worked and frustrated but it’s no reason to take it out on the public. Ben the pharmacist was VERY rude and treated me very poorly, all because I was confused and frustrated because the Walgreens app said my prescription was received, then canceled.Arianna was originally helping me, but did not see my prescription, then turn to Ben for help. He told her to wait because he made a mistake about another prescription, I guess. Then he said “if they’re isn’t a prescription then they’re nothing I can do” that’s when I asked them both why does the Walgreens app say received and then it was canceled. He then said, it doesn’t matter what the app says”, and said that he would send my doctors a request. I informed Ben that my doctors office is closed and will be closed the remainder of the week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Then he repeated it again, so I repeated my response. Then he said “Do you want help with your drugs or not” after that he started calling me names-immature, a jerk, rude, among other things. We processed to go back and forth, but after that I could not believe what was happening. I then told him to stop talking to me, and turned back to Arianna and said can I please just get my other two prescription- all the while he was still talking to me. He told me he wish I would stop talking, even after I asked him to stop talking to me. Arianna and another African American women witness this entire conversation. I honestly believe that if I was an older person or maybe somebody else he wouldn’t have been that comfortable speaking to me in that manner. I’ve never experienced that from a customer service before. I am switching my pharmacy asap, and telling everyone I know not to use Walgreens Pharmacy. I will not be using them ever again.

I was on the phone with my daughter while she was at the Pharmacy. She was picking up prescription and was understandably frustrated because her prescriptions says it was received then cancelled on the Walgreens app but wasn’t received. I heard him (the pharmacist Ben) say that the only thing he can do is send a request to the doctor. She then said my doctor office is closed for the rest of the week. He said again he can send a request again. She once again said the doctor’s office is closed.. then he said do you want help or not. The whole time I am on the phone and hear him. Then he called her immature and jerk. What kind of customer service is this. My whole family uses Walgreens Rx and in different towns. I am considering leaving Walgreens entirely.

Uninformed pharmacy staff, which will cause countless hours of wasted time on your part. If you need a Walgreens in Greensboro, PLEASE just go to the one on Cornwallis where there actual competent people.

I get they’re overworked. However they have cancelled my prescriptions or put them in the system entirely incorrectly. I would change pharmacies, but as a student, this is the closest pharmacy in walking distance. They constantly mess up prescriptions, take weeks to fill my supplies for injections, and the workers seem uneducated in their own system. This place needs better management and training

The pharmacy help are the most incompetent people I’ve ever met. First off you go thru the drive thru after work you’re guaranteed to wait 18 min minimum. After that, they will tell you they can fill a prescription after waiting another 23 minutes two days later (they said it would be ready next day by 11am) and then be told it was never entered in the system. Then be told it’s cheaper over the counter, but when I looked it was half the price as a prescription. So I wait AGAIN in line to be told “my bad imma fill it right now” only to be brought back up not even 60 seconds later to say they don’t carry that. And when I ask if it can be ordered the lil *explicit* smirked and said nahh that’s an over the counter medicine. *explicit* if it can be charge at half the rate with good ex then it’s obviously a prescription. The only person that seemed competent there was the pharmacist, who had to raise his voice about their incompetency 3 weeks ago when THEY GAVE ME THE ENTIRE WRONG PRESCRIPTION n I had to come back after they were closed n was like “not anymore fix my prescription… knock it down and turn it into a family dollar this pharmacy is useless. Downright stupid…

Busy is a constant thing in this world, but being told by an employee to come back when they aren’t busy is absurd. Also I know everything the people in front of me were prescribed, their addresses and phone numbers because they make you basically shout everything out rather than form an orderly line and call up one person at a time to allow some privacy and dignity. And as a final reason for 1 star, I had to insist that the people in line go in front of me even though I was being called first and they had been waiting. The employee to me to “just come on up,” even though I was being proper about the order of things. Maybe 1 star is too much but I don’t see the “no star” option.

My fiance sent medicine to this pharmacy and wanted to sign up as a new client for this walgreens location. Upon arriving and in a decent amount of pain, the pharmacy tech failed to ask if he had insurance and made him pay full price for his medication. Thinking that he shouldn't have had to pay for his meds, I called the walgreens customer care and got on the line with a rep. She said that they should have asked for his insurance and that they would be able to issue a refund. I called this location directly and talked to the pharmacy tech that helped him who said "well I didn't see he had insurance on file so I didn't think to ask." (That would be the best time to ask someone if they have insurance, don't you think?)Anyhow, she said they would issue a refund if we brought in his insurance card and the receipt- perfect. Since he wasn't clear to drive by himself, he could only handle this the following Tuesday. The pharmacist and manager stated that they can't issue a refund and that its against federal law to refund money for a script. They took no responsibility for their error and did not refund the money. I'm a client/customer of theirs and will have my medicine sent elsewhere. Time after time, the techs have been rude and incompetent but I've let it slide because it seems a lot of techs who work there are students. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
