I know that in a retail setting, like this, the employees are usually overworked and underpaid. It shows, as there is no pride in the work, nor in the store here. Things are all over the store in the wrong places, on the floor, under racks, etc. A huge sense of disorder upon walking in is putting it nicely. Meanwhile, t-shirts are $1.79, but they don't qualify that to be t-shirts that don't have seams. I argued with the "nice" clerk Jessica today. There was 1/2 of a PJ top from Dreams & Company today, that I liked. It was supposed to have a matching camisole but didn't. Anyway, she was charging me for the price of a sweater, instead of a pajama top. With the word Dreams in the company tag, it is easy to assume that it is sleep related, right? But, I also have the top and pant set in other colors, so I knew. But, her under the breath remarks were rude, and totally uncalled for. On other items, they were priced higher than if you bought the item new. If the original tag says Dollar Tree.... It costs less than $1 ( everything in Dollar Tree is $1, with a few exceptions, and those items are even less), so, why charge me $5, when one component is missing, per the tag? That was an example carried multiple times through the store. Or, WalMart/TJ Maxx/other stores had their tags on items, often reading less than the Goodwill price, too. Hmmm, do I want a new item, or a used one that costs more? On shirts, the WM tag was marked down to $2, but, at check out, I was charged $3.79. So, I just went to WM after leaving, spending less, and not having to deal with the atrocious smell inside. Next time, I'll skip this Goodwill in favor of a store where my purchase matters to the staff, and I'm treated with some respect, and the store is cleaner and organized. Think Freedom House, Salvation Army, or another Goodwill location.

This is by far the best store around, great customer service and management goes above and beyond to make customers happy. As for the negative comments about donating, they come from entitled people who think the world revoles around them and have no patience or understanding of policies or procedures. Of course they're not going to accept donations 15 minutes after they close, they're closed. They are trying to clean up and go home. Who is still trying to donate at 8:15 at night anyway? lmao

Tried dropping some items in great condition and the staff was very rude, it was “15minutes” after closing time and they wouldn’t take them. Plus they have bumped their prices on items inside the store that are overly priced! Used items with holes and worn out .. it’s better to go to Ross or any other store that sells brand new items for the price that Goodwill is selling them for. Goodwill is unethical and money hungry! I’m done with them! Will be supporting small thrift stores! Please do the same ??

I had never been to a Goodwill store before. I found some really good deals and was happy that I stopped in to shop here.

Selection is a little below average, and (as cited in other reviewer’s posts) the staff are rather unhelpful.

The customer service staff at the register is always very pleasant and greets you upon entry, however, the individuals that are assigned in the rear to accept donations are extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ve experienced this on multiple occasions when dropping off donations. I understand that some of them are bot actual employees, however that does not negate the fact that they are rude and unprofessional when accepting donations from the community. I’ve given many donations over the course of several years and after my last experience I’ve decided that I will just find a local church to give my donations.

IDK what they are smoking but they are way overpriced now. I used to come here all the time now I rarely come here because they're charging $13 for a tripod that I paid $5 for at the Goodwill down the road. Just look at how much they have on their shelves and you'll be able to tell it's way overpriced just by the amount of items on the shelves.

Always a good place to kill a few hours or minutes..even while away a whole afternoon! They have plenty of things from babies to Grandmas! Old stuff, new stuff, stuff you can't even tell WHAT it is! Come on down and see what you can find! It's fun and free to look around!

UPDATE* RESTROOMS AND DRESSING ROOMS NOW OPEN AT GOODWILLS GREENSBORO. THK U GW!Always fun to shop here, great finds, prices do fluctuate I wanted to give 5☆but NO RESTROOMS for customers is VERY INSULTING.They want your $business$ but treat you horribly. This new policy is both ridiculous & INSULTING as all other businesses have open restrooms.ALL!IT IS VERY WRONG TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO USE THE RESTROOMS.And don't give me that Comp.Policy covid-19 Excuse because EVERY OTHER BUSINESS IN TOWN HAS OPENED THEIRS. 5☆=treating YOUR customers as you would want to be treated.
