It was great working with Lorie at Thiz and Dat Upholstery. The cushion turned out beautiful, high quality and in a timely manner. She also helped me find just the right fabric. The cushion fits perfectly in my window seating area. I would definitely use them again.

This was our first time getting anything upholstered, so we weren't sure what to expect. The project was six dining chairs. It ended up taking six months. A few weeks after we dropped off our chairs, I checked in on the progress and was then informed that there were two projects ahead of ours. Those two projects ended up taking three months. It then took three months to upholster our chairs. We were in the dark for most of the time. If I had not periodically checked in for an update, we would know nothing about the progress of our project. For such a lengthy process, updates really ought to be provided. Also, we were not told that our fabric wasn't appropriate for upholstery until after the project was completed!Our chairs turned out beautifully and we are enjoying them very much, but the experience of getting them upholstered was not great. Communication could be better.

I had somewhat of an unusual request. I am a bench jeweler, and being trained in Germany, my bench is equipped with a leather apron that acts as a skirt/drawer. Thiz and Dat didn't hesitate to accommodate my needs, using the original as a template and turned the job out over the weekend. I didn't miss any work and was extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship and professionalism. I literally enjoy this item every working day of the week.

Thiz and Dat Upholstery did a great job on my boat cushions! They were not easy as they were six feet long and a weird size (not rectangular or square at all) that was required to fit an angled seat on both sides of my boat cockpit. That was no problem for Lorie and her team. They took time to ask questions (I had never considered where to put the zipper to make the foam insert removable for cleaning) and we communicated using photo's of the way the cushions look on the boat. I provided the fabric and they did their magic creating really nice looking and very functional cushions. I would definitely use them again for anything related to upholstery or design work. Upholstery was done well however had to wait over 3 months to get a chair cushion made. Was told it could take up to 2 months. At the 2 month mark, I sent a msg asking for an update. Quick response was: we're busy so I'm happy to return your material and refund your money. I wasn't in a hurry and didn't think asking for an update was out of line. Will take future projects to someone else.

Highly recommend. Quality of work is very high, prices are veey reasonable, turn around exceeded expectations and friendly. Re-upholstered old boat cushions and made boat curtains. She does great work!

I had a small job that most people wouldn't consider, must less arrange for pick up. Lorie was so kind to take time from her schedule for this repair and she charged a minimal amount. It was a small repair but she could have charged more. She not only took time for pickup and delivery, but was very prompt and professional. The repair is perfect and I will definitely use her services in the future.

The lavender chair was an antique that I inherited from my Very special eccentric Aunt. The chair was pretty beat up and the cat took it over. Lori had me pick out some new fabric and she had her woodworker refinish the wooden pieces. Lori even added a small pillow. I love it! She was so careful to line up the pattern on this channel chair so the best of this whimsical pattern was showcased! With great attention to detail she transformed this old antique. Auntie would’ve loved this out family does. Thank you Lori
