I'm giving a 3 because we rented the shelter. But for some reason, the bathrooms were locked
Playground: Kids had a ball on the playground
Picnic area: Clean and nice. They made sure to check the trash occasionally.

My family and I enjoyed the park. We fished and kayaked and kayaks were available for rent. The shelters were clean and the attendants emptied the garbage cans regularly. The shelters also had access to electricity, water, and large grills.
Playground: The children enjoyed the playground and it was something there for every child to do. The children’s ages ranged from 5-12.
Toilets: The rest rooms were clean and stocked with toiletries
Dog-friendliness: The park allows dogs and dog walking.

The dog areas were mostly clean, which is rare in other dog parks I've been.

Huge Park. Never knew of it. Fish are active!
Online says it closes at 7 or 8, but I got there and it closed at 5. That's the only knock I seen do far

Fun mountain bike and hiking trails which continue to expand. (Currently, around 5 miles). Paved road and walking track great for walking and biking. Kayak and Jon boat rentals available. Picnic shelters are large with grills. 3 fenced areas for your dog. Well kept, helpful friendly staff. Park is open to bikers and hikers even when the boat launch and marina are closed. I went there to try out a fishing kayak. The ramp is a bit steep. There is both a boat dock and a fishing dock. The small ramp area may cause annoyance to other boaters because I am old and slow about loading and unloading. This is a popular spot for launching non gas engine boats. All in all it's pretty great. Hours and days at the park are restrictive. Check ahead before you go.

The only reason for 4 stars is thatthe dog park is very secluded. You definitely have to know what you’re looking for to find it, you won’t stumble upon it by accident. The area is nice but not a lot of dog friends to play with. The p*** bag dispenser is empty so bring your own bags!
