Cassandra was patient and helpful when I called with questions. I always want to ensure I make quality purchases and appreciate all of the help. Shelf Life is centered around reuse and creativity, which is great for the environment and everyone's mental health. The owner pays her employees fairly and she offers exceptionally reasonably priced, high-quality art supplies. Last but certainly not least, there's an adorable shop cat who most people think is a Shih Tzu but Pica, you're not fooling me. Oh! I nearly forgot to mention that Shelf Life has an excellent social media account and the shop displays are made by students of art classes (reasonable! Supporting local artists!) offered there. (OK, OK, Pica, you're a dog.)

My daughter found this store while trying to find supplies for a project she was working on while home on a school break. This little shop is fantastic and very budget friendly! With a daughter at Art School full-time, I have spent thousands of dollars on art supplies to support her dream. Although I have enjoyed all of the trips to various art supply stores with her over the years, I have always dreaded seeing the final bill. At Shelf Life, we can shop for hours and find all kinds of great supplies and not have to worry about breaking the budget. And bonus, they give store credit for the left over supplies we have acquired from different projects over the years. I save money and get rid of some of my clutter. And the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. There is always someone available to help you find exactly what you need.

A great place to grab useful art supplies and get cool new stuff you can't find at chain stores. Also the trade in works great because you can get rid of stuff you don't use and then buy stuff you *hopefully* will use. It's a great place for an artist of any level.
