I've never had a bad experience; the staff are lovely, the plants are always healthy, the decorations never miss, and the occasion visit of a cat definitely makes the trip. Today my girlfriend and I won the pickle ornament hunt, she got $80+ worth of an squirrel repellent bird feed and bird feeder set up!”

Lot's of tomato ? plants, all different kinds of hot pepper plants, bell pepper plants, cucumbers, ect... I love going to Carolina Gardens, I've already been about 5 times this month.”

“Came in to buy a plant for a friend I was visiting. Young person (Ash) was a bit busy opening when I got there but once she finished counting the drawer her vibrant personality helped elevate the plants. Loved her attitude. Will suggest this place to local friends, just wish it was ready to open at open.”

“The store is clean and has ton of signage, which is very helpful for the non-contractors like myself. Lol I walked around in the Doors section for a while. No one stopped to help. I saw one guy near me, but I thought he was a customer. Turns out, he worked there. He walked off without saying a word. I saw him later helping someone else out. I got help from another guy, but once again, I was feet away from him. He didn't say a word. I had to say excuse me. What brought the stars up on my review was the painting department. He approached me to ask if I needed help. The paint specialist was so knowledgeable and helpful. He listened to me and got me what I needed for my project. I really appreciated his help. Everything he suggested was exactly what I needed. I really wish I got his name. He is really good at his job. The check out clerk was kind as well. She was quick and greeted me friendly. I'll try this location again.”
“I've rented a large variety of tools and equipment from this location over the years with no issues. Even had to bring a tool back that stopped working during my rental period and my rental fee was 100% refunded. However, knocking one star off due to an experience today. Let's just say, if you want to rent a flatbed truck, do not let them know you plan on towing with it. They won't let you rent it. Really tough to find a rental pickup to do a short distance local tow and this seemed like the best option until I told them this. Lesson learned, no small talk next time. Just get the keys and head out the door.”
“CLAY AND LINO/LYNO(I think I missed spelled it) are really amazing with their customer service if the would had more employees like those 2 the world we be a much better place, I brought a box, rented a truck and they helped me load it up and break it down, they treated the situation as if it was their equipment they were respectful and had a high work ethic, and know I’m thinking about becoming a Home Depot member and not go to Lowe’s anymore thanks to them two and I know for a fact I wasn’t the only customer they treated so well I’ve witnessed them have the same respect and urgency when it came to other customers as well while still helping me they didn’t leave anyone stranded and batted to all customers, they really do need a raise and recognition thank yall”

“I had a positive experience at The Home Depot on S. Elm Eugene in Greensboro, NC on February 12, 2026. I must admit that I love hardware stores and could spend hours in any one of them. As an older woman, most people find it surprising that I do most home repairs myself so I sometimes feel overlooked. However, the employees at The Home Depot were very helpful, answering all my questions and directing me to where I needed to go. I had no problem finding someone to help me. Parking was no problem. I ended up with a couple of items I needed to repair HVAC ducts. Thank to The Home Depot for their help.”
