Came in with no appointment with a check engine light. I had the code read prior to my visit, bad catalytic converter, so my visit was really just to inquire about the cost of replacement. Fully expecting the estimate to be in the thousands as my truck has three cats. Within minutes they diagnosed the problem could be from a small exhaust leak that could cause a "false" code. They welded it up and less than an hour later I was on my way home. Light never came back on and I passed inspection. I truly believe that had I been to any other shop I would have been taken advantage of financially. The genuine honesty of the owner and staff is amazing to see in this day and age. All said the repair was less than $100. Customer for life and will recommend to all my friends and family

I went in to requested a quote on a part and inquired about labor costs. Received both quote and labor estimate, and part was ordered same day. Got a call when part arrived and was helped to schedule an appointment around my busy schedule. Excellent customer service and best quote in town! We will be back!

Shoutout to Merican Muffler! I needed the service of Muffler Delete on my 2017 Mazda 6. Considering there is not a lot of people modifying Mazdas, especially newer models, Mazdas are a bit different when it comes to their muffler. They took all the necessary steps as well as did the EXTRA work of making my Mazda sound amazing and much more aggressive. They built a custom y-pipe as well as installed axle-back exhaust tips on those pipes, giving more hp to my car as well as allowing more airflow included with increase torque. All for an unbeatable price, thank you guys.

Joel was a complete A-Hole. I called at 1115 to schedule an appointment and he said to come in they weren’t busy. So I arrived at 1205 and didn’t hear anything so at 1245 I asked when might they get to it and he replied “this isn’t an oil-change you can’t just get it done in 10 minutes” and when I called him out on telling me to come in he suddenly forgets and states he wasn’t even here. Granted I’m in full army uniform and I stated I had to get back to work and he rolled his eyes. Go somewhere with someone who actually gives a f about customer service don’t waste your time.

I brought my truck in to get my exhaust fixed and my rear shocks replaced. The guys at Merican Muffler are the best in the business. I'm very happy with the work they did and it was a very good price. I finally found a shop I can trust with my truck.

Usually you ask for inexpensive, fast , and good.. but you can only have 2/3. If it’s fast and good it’s usually not cheap. If it’s cheap and fast it’s usually not good. If it’s cheap and good then it’s not fast …Well here I seemed to hit the jackpot and got all 3!!

At first I was frustrated not being able to schedule time for the work, they're "first come, first serve". They suggested to arrive when they open at 8am. Of course the day I plan to drop off my truck to have the exhaust repaired, I couldn't drop it off until 10am. When I got there, only one car was ahead of me. I had things I needed to take care of at home before work. So, I took a Lyft home instead of waiting in their waiting room. I wish I had stayed, because after a 20-min rideshare to home and 30-min into my project, Merican called to tell me what they found, how they were going to repair it, and how much the repair would be. I approved the repair and asked how long before it would be ready. They said about 30-min! I replied " Wow! I better get that Lyft over there! I wasn't expecting to get the truck back before work today!". I was pleasantly surprised and appreciated the fast service and the reasonable cost. The guys were super friendly and informative through the process. I probably spent close to half the repair amount in Lyft charges. The best part, no migraine from the rattling exhaust under the truck cab, no ringing ears from cranking up the radio to hear it! When I started my truck, I thought something was wrong. This literally was the first time since I've owned, I didn't hear the engine running...it was that quiet! Thanks, Merican!

Oh my God ! This place is amazing just in and out..something hit my muffler last night and this morning I called them and tell them how can they help me they just told me to bring it in and it was a hold on the muffler and it only took me just 30 minutes. Thank you so much, guys. You all the best ?
