I appreciated the friendliness, knowledge, professionalism, and the overall customer service provided by Mavis. Taurus and Tommy went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of and that I received the best pricing. I arrived there due to an emergency. However, based on today’s experience, they have gained a new “regular” customer whenever I need tire or brake services.

Taurus, the manager at Mavis Tire at 3926 Battleground avenue, fit me in quickly on a Saturday(when many other tire shops have decided to be closed)and had his techs rebalance a set of out-of-balance tires I just bought from a competitor two weeks ago. Very clean shop. Very nice customer waiting area. Even though I do most of my own routine maintenance, 3926 Battleground will be doing tires, alignments and oil changes on all my vehicles.

We went a few weekends ago. We called ahead they said come on in. We got there we had went to the wrong location. While setting up a time to come back the Manager Taurus walked in and said oh we can fit you in. We were getting 4 new tires and an oil change. He gave us a great deal on the service. He was very friendly and helpful. We dropped the car off. Went back to get it they said we have some bad news, we couldn’t get the alignment done. No worries. We made plans to drop it off the next day. On the way home we had a hubcap fall off. When we dropped the car off the next day I mentioned it and they replaced the hubcaps for free. Between Taurus, Malachi and Kalie ( I hope I spelled their names right), we have exceptional service. They have earned our business. I can’t express enough how great this store is and the service. You guys rock.

Went today expecting to replace 2 tires unexpectedly, but ended up having to purchase 4. Taurus was super helpful, and took his time helping me despite the fact he was the only one working the desk and was super busy.

I got a set of tires here for my daughter’s car. They matched the price I got from a different retailer. I made an appointment for her to come and get the work done. When she got there she was told it would take 4 hours to complete, so she had to find someone to come and get her. They tried to upsell her on front brakes and an alignment which we declined. The old tires were worn evenly and I took the wheels off and looked at the brakes myself at home, they had a lot of life left. They told me the pads were 80/90% gone when I picked the car up. Overall nice guys though.

4 new tires and alignment took 4 hours. That's about an hour/tire. That'll cost 'em one star... Otherwise, I'm completely happy. Must confess that a warped rim held up the process of balancing some, but still pretty slow in my opinion. If the guys in the white shirts helped the guys in the blue shirts more, this would sort itself out.
