“Cool spot for lunch near the courthouse. Lots of food and drinks. They also have soaps, candles, room sprays, t-shirts, hats. Plenty of chips and snacks also. You definitely need to try this spot.”
“Loaded Grape is a tucked away gem! I stumbled upon Loaded Grape while searching for a new wine bar in town and found this one. It's in a shopping center which seemed weird but they make very good use of the space. I've been to several Saturday tastings where you can experience 5-6 wines from around the globe and purchase your favorite by the glass or bottle. There's always a friendly face-whether from a staff member or patron. I've met many nice people and enjoy all their events. They have a good social presence and website where events are updated so I do enjoy knowing what's coming up.”
“The ABC Liquor Store had my choice of drink which was V.S.O.P BRANDY went back home & played some music had my crushed ice,some Country Time Lemonade to mix with my drink,& some BudLight Beer in the nice cool AC.”
“A person was unlawfully arrested at this store a couple months back by the manager illegally trespassing him. This has opened up a possible civil rights violation lawsuit and penalties under the board of governors rules:

“Cheers to a comeback for WineStyles. I believe it has a lot to do with new management providing excellent service. I've been back a handful of times in the past couple months and I've enjoyed the wine tasting as well as wines by the glass. I can't comment on food at the point besides what I've seen. The charcuterie looks much more appealing than in the past and I'll likely indulge next time. The ambience for wine Wednesday was laid back with a friendly crowd. I'll probably stop in every time I shop now!”
“This is a great place to get unloaded from. My appointment was 10/5/23 at 4am and he was literally done at 4:20am. Nice people. I got here the day before around 1pm just to see if I could get unloaded sooner but they was overworked and couldn't squeeze me in but they were nice and generous throughout the warehouse. One guy looked at my paper to see what I had to see if he could get me but I told him no worries but thanks for trying anyway. If all shippers and receivers were like this place, trucking wouldn't be so bad at all. As tough as it is with being gone from home, the road, the breakdowns and etc, the life as a trucker is already tough but to run across people like this is priceless!! Thanks fellas..”

“Depending on the location will determine the level of service you will receive. Thus far I've received immaculate service from Bessemer/East Market location and Pyramid Village and distasteful service from the one on West Market. Same liquor different store therefore service matters.”

“I come over and into this area for the Chinese restaurant known as the Szechuan Kitchen as I've been coming here and eating their food for better part of 18 years now. It has been exceptional and I still stop here on the occasion when I'm in the area. Their food is usually above most these other restaurants that I search and find this one here is really at the top of my list.”

“My review is based on the deli section and not the whole store. If you want a very good sub sandwich toasted or not, at a great cost, I highly recommend coming to the deli! This was miles better than a lot of sub sandwich chains, and the price was unbelievable here! 4.99 for half a sub and 8.99 for a whole is a bargin with the quality of food you get on the sandwiches. You can pick it your way and add side items and dressings to the sub. There is a fresh sushi preb, lots of quick items on the go, and a very clean look! It's definitely worth a visit to get a great bargin and tasty sub sandwich!”
“I must admit that the assistant store manager, I believe his name is Jeremiah. He really was very helpful and nice. I came to get a corsage for my son for his 8th grade dance. I was late getting off work so when I arrived around 5pm the florist was gone home. This man said well I'm not a trained professional but I will do my best. And when I tell you l, he made something out of nothing. Thank you for making the corsage for me from starch. Jeremiah thanks again!”
“I've been going to Beer Co. since day one. I have made some of my best friends there. There are six beer taps, a cooler full of enough styles to please anyone. You can purchase beer and wine to go or hang out in the bar or at the outside tables.Google Timeline tells me I've been to Beer Co. more times than my work. A friend asked how that is possible. I work five days a week. Beer Co. is open seven days a week. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. If you are staying downtown and want to enjoy a beer or two or pick some up for the hotel, Beer Co. is your spot!”

“This little grocery story carries a nice selection of beer and wine. Friendly staff. The coolest part about this place is that it is located in a historic firehouse building.The food selection is very basic but if you are there for beer and wine they have the snacks you need to accompany.”

“I stopped by at this store Saturday morning to pick up some fruits and vegetables on our way out of town on a camping trip. I had to get something out of one of my external storage compartments. While in a traffic slowdown on I40 west of Asheville the car next to me told me one of my storage doors was open. I had taken a few things out at Harris Teeter and forgot to put them back in and close the door. So I called the store (about 4 hours later) and was lucky enough to talk to the store manger. He listened to my dilemma and said he would go out and look to see if the contents of my storage compartment was still in his parking lot. About 15 minutes later he called my back and said he had found my stuff and would hold it until I returned next Friday. That’s service! It’s a tribute to the high quality individuals employed by Harris Teeter.”
“When I used to live in Greensboro this was the liquor store that I always came to because it was literally 2 minutes from the house. I have grown and since moved away. Whatever I do come home to visit, this is still the only liquor store I will go to. I remember years ago it was kind of messy. I'm unsure why it was that way but nevertheless, it never really bothered me. I remember walking in about 3 or 4 years ago maybe and noticed that the entire place had been redone inside. It's very nice in there it's never boxes in the aisles are all over the place. It's very nice. The employees are nice as well. There are only 3 things I don't like. They are listed below.
1.) I live in Charlotte now. There are liquors here in Charlotte that I cannot get in this particular liquor store. I'm pretty sure it's due to the market and all of that but it's not a deal breaker because ultimately, they had exactly what I wanted. I only buy specialty stuff when there is some sort of function that I'm having or going to, and my last visit (or any of my visits for that matter) was not the case.
2.) They do not accept split payments. This is a real inconvenience and they should accept them. I'm not sure if the young lady at the register didn't know how to take split payments or if this is a real thing. I wanted to pay with some of the cash I had and put the rest on my debit card. I wasn't able to do this and I needed the cash that wasn't going to be used to pay for something else. Again it's a real inconvenience and again, I am unsure if that's a store policy and if that is real or not but like I said I don't know.
3.) The size of this store is the size of a small convenience store, which is probably why some of the specialty items I look for are not available here. I do certainly understand though, because the locations lot is not that big.
Other than that, I don't really have any real issues with this location.”

“What a big beautiful new location! The selection is fantastic, equaled, maybe by only the store in Hillsborough. The staff are friendly and jovial and provide great service. I found some Bookers, got a Redneck Riviera gift pack (for me, of course) and some other hard to fond items.Go here, you'll find what you want and more!”
